Blog hasn't ranked since reposting.

Hey Moz fam!
I had a blog that was doing pretty well for the target keyword. Unfortunately, to make a long story short, we had an image in it we weren't supposed to so I unpublished it for a few days while we got that sorted out. Since republishing (with all the same content) it has not gotten a single impression.
I inspected the URL and it is totally eligible but nothing in the way of organic traffic. Any ideas on how I can recover?

For sure there would have been better ways but it was the only option at the time. Like I said, its a very long story short on the image. Now, with that said, I have inspected the URL in GSC and it is indexed and ready to be shown by Google but the rankings have not come back.

Well, first of all, I would say that it was a mistake unpublishing the blog, and are much better ways to handle the situation.
Now, when you say "unpublish", do you mean you had them de-indexed through the search console? If so, then you should check back the search console and see the "coverage" section on whether the pages are indexed or not. If they have started to index, you can do a "live test" and "indexation request" to speed up the process. Otherwise, check to remove the un-indexing request. From past experience, I can say that the previous rank is restored fully, but it only takes some time for Google to index the pages.

Blog.website.com or website.com/blog
Hello, I have a question, in some moz guidelines you can read website.com/blog is better/more recommended than blog.website.com. But when you look at the domain authority you see no difference. blog.website.com gets exact the same domain authority as website.com. So can somebody explain why website.com/blog is really better than blog.website.com? Or is there no difference? Thank you verry much

Difference in Forum and Blog for SEO
I was pushing my employer to agree to switch to add a blog onto our site and he asked me, what is the difference between the blog and a forum for SEO purposes. Besides the general look and feel and a forum being more community oriented, is a blog better than a forum for seo, and if so, why? It can be vice-versa I just need to fully understand this myself so I can begin to work on one and explain it to my employer. If anyone can provide any insight, it will be much appreciated.

Blog? Is it worth it?
Hi Guys, Hope your all OK. Apart from our main site we have a static comparison site that's now ranking really high for some of our big keywords. At the moment the site only has 2 pages and I'm wondering weither or not to setup a blog on the site to not only increase the pages indexed but also increase our longtail keyword rankings... I'll be able to create a new article aday. Would like your input guys. Thanks, Scott

Different pages with very similar H1's - will I get a penalty?
I currently have text articles about various topics on my site - for this example say I have written about "Negative Reinforcement". This article is live over a month now and getting listed on the first google page with an added keyword which the article is specifically related to. Now I want to create an infographic related to the same topic "Negative Reinforcement" - but I want to call the page this infographic will go on "Negative Reinforcement Infographic" while the article is currently called just "Negative Reinforcement". Neither page will have duplicate content from each other. The article is 2,000+ words so I don't want to throw more into it by adding on the infographic and I want to specifically create the infographic as linkbait and on a stand alone page. I am curious if adding another page with such a similar title and H1 have any negative effect ("dilute" the strength of the other article), for example will google take having two different pages with such a similar heading as potential keyword stuffing and penalise the site?
