My site is not ranking at all.
-
Can anybody check it what is the main culprit behind my website's growth?
-
Thanks for investing your time mate. No, I didn't experience the traffic drop with any algorithm update. As I mentioned, I had shifted my site from .in to .com and also with that, server locations got changed. When I had .in domain, it was ranking and I was quite satisfied with the rank. I was ranking 5 out of 1 articles, but now, It not happens.
I've noindexed those pages, because they were not adding any value to my ranking and site, instead causing the duplicate issue problem.
Do you recommend me changing the current domain name? Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't realize that you wanted those pages to be noindexed.
We brought it up because from what we can see, it looks like you only have a few pages indexed.
How many pages does Google Search Console tell you they have indexed?
Sometimes content pruning (deleting or noindexing pages) can be good. But it's also possible that it can hurt you if you've noindexed some pages that were ranking and driving traffic to your site. Not only do you lose the traffic they had but you lose their PageRank value to your site and any internal link value to other pages of your site.
Also, you mention that you want to get your site back on track. When did you see the traffic drop? Was it around the same time as some changes you made to your site? Did it coincide with a major algorithm update?

Before I was changing the domain, I knew the terms So, I redirected it to the current domain and later, removed the old domain permanently. And I don't get this, How come noindex urls affect the Overall SEO?. I'm just confused. I don't want those urls to get indexed, because they were causing the duplicate pages issue. Could you clarify that why noindex tags can affect the indexable urls?.
-
Well your biggest problem is that fact that the bulk of your site is noindexed.
You should run your site through ScreamingFrog to find out which of your pages are noindexed and fix that.
I manually clicked through a few dozen pages and found that the following pages are all noindexed:
- https://www.10stuffs.com/brands

Also did you redirect your old domain name to your current domain name?

I've designed it, but not the whole site. And you'r seeing the handful of posts indexed on google because, I've recently submitted some posts to noindex for some reason. I don't think by searching for term like site:10stuffs.com will give the accurate results, that's because, when typing a url separately, results are the same.
There is no duplicate content, no copied and also I don't see any technical issue. The reason could be the hosting servers, as I had different locations earlier and also I had changed my domain name once.
Other than that, I don't think there is any problem. What do you think and please do suggest me what to do to get my website back on track.
My articles used to be indexed instantly but all of a sudden, they are taking days to appear in the search result.
I write news based contents so, fast indexing the is the matter of some concern to me.

Running a quick "site:" search on your website, I can see that there are a handful of pages that are indexed. I can also see that you only have 2 posts up and they were published very recently. Additionally, a few elements on the menu are not linked to any pages. So I'm wondering if the site is relatively new or has been redesigned recently?

Site Speed Testing Tools For Production Sites
Hi Guys, Any free site speed testing tools for sites in production, which are password protected? We want to test site speed before the new site goes live on top priority pages. Site is on Shopify – we tried google page insights while being logged into the production site but believe its just recording the speed of the password page. Cheers.

Why have my rankings dropped?
I have a client who has just seen his average page rank creep up from around 39 to 34 over about two months, then it appears to have dropped back to position 40+ in the space of a week. I believe he's made a lot of changes to targeted keywords, so I'd like to think it's simply because his old targeted keywords are dropping and new keywords still have to build their rankings. But I'm also worried in case he has over-optimised and might get getting penalised. Any advice on where to start digging?

Site migration from non canonicalized site
Hi Mozzers - I'm working on a site migration from a non-canonicalized site - I am wondering about the best way to deal with that - should I ask them to canonicalize prior to migration? Many thanks.

Merging Sites: Will redirecting the old homepage to an internal page on the new site cause issues?
I've ended up with two sites which have similar content (but not duplicate) and target similar keywords, rather than trying to maintain two sites I would like to merge the sites together. The old site is more of a traditional niche site and targets a particular set of keywords on its homepage, the new site is more of an authority site with a magazine type homepage and targets the same set of keywords from an internal page. My question is: Should I redirect the old site's homepage to the relevant internal page on the new website...

...or should I redirect the old site's homepage to the new site's homepage? (the old site's homepage backlinks are a mixture of partial match keyword anchor text, naked URLs and branded anchor text) I am in two minds (a & b!) (a) Redirecting to the internal page would be great for ranking as there are some decent backlinks and the content is similar (b) But usually when you do a 301 redirect the homepage usually directs to the new homepage and some of the old site's links are related to the domain rather than the keyword (e.g. http://www.site.com) and some people will be looking for the site's homepage. What do you think? Your help is much appreciated (and hope this makes sense...!)0 -

My homepage doesn't rank anymore. It's been replaced by irrelevant subpages which rank around 100-200 instead of top 5.
Hey guys, I think I got some kind of penalty for my homepage. I was in top5 for my keywords. Then a few days ago, my homepage stopped ranking for anything except searching for my domain name in Google. sitename.com/widget-reviews/ previously ranked #3 for "widget reviews"
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | wearetribe
but now....
sitename.com/widget-training-for-pet-cats/ is ranking #84 for widget reviews instead. Similarly across all my other keywords, irrelevant, wrong pages are ranking. Did I get some kind of penalty?0 -
Site dropped rankings when changing host from US to Spain
My site was ranked very well in the UK & US for multiple keywords but we changed hosting from the US to Spain and since then the rankings in the US & UK have dropped between 5 to 35 positions on all keywords and are showing no signs of returning 3 weeks later. What can be causing this? The site was down for about 3 to 5 hours a few days before we transferred hosting (this is why we changed hosting due to the previous hosting being down too often). It does seem as though the new location of the hosting server seems to be affecting rankings but I need confirmation on this or any other ideas why the rankings may have dropped. Thanks in advance

Newish site dropped out of rankings - is this normal?
I've got a small, 3 month old site that was ranking for a few low-competition keywords. Then, yesterday, it dropped out of the rankings almost completely. The only way to find it is to google the URL/site name, and then it does come up. There are pages in the index, they're just not ranking like they did two days ago. I'm not doing anything black hat or even slightly shady - just writing articles and clean link building. Is this a normal part of the Google process? I've never seen it happen on any other sites I've been involved with.
