Does Facebook Messages count as a social signal factor?

Hi,
We know that social signals are usually referred to as a webpage's collective likes, comments or shares. But what about the Facebook messages generated from the messenger plugin on a web page?
Especially on a business page, if one business page receives hundreds of Facebook messages through a landing page or blog page, does that count as social shares?
And how effective is social signals are for a website in 2020? Although social engagement is always good for any website, my question is, how logical is it to purchase "social signal gigs" from konker or Fiverr or other gig markets?
We run a social media marketing company in Australia, our website: https://www.playchat.com.au and we get a lot of messages every day through the messenger add on from our home page. Will that make any difference whatsoever?

Facebook Messages, typically referring to private messages exchanged between users, do not count as a direct social signal factor for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) purposes. Social signals generally refer to public interactions on social media platforms, such as likes, shares, comments, and the overall engagement a piece of content receives. These signals can influence search engine rankings by indicating the popularity and relevance of content.
While Facebook Messages might contribute to user engagement and content sharing indirectly, they are private and not easily measurable by search engines. Therefore, they do not directly impact SEO in the same way public social media interactions do.

Totally agree with Kate, Google doesn't have access to this information, an uptick in messages is a good thing if you can tie that back to your business being more popular but I definitely wouldn't pay to have bots send messages for the sake of SEO.

My guess is no. It might correlate someday, the number of messages and how generally popular you become, but messages are not public data. Google and Bing can't crawl that data, so they can't use it. Social signals like likes, replies, reviews, etc are available metrics, so they can at least be taken into account. However, it was and still remains not a direct signal, more of a correlation.

Facebook guidlines for NPO
I've been trying to help a local chapter of a non-profit organisation set up a Facebook page (for free!) but the idea has been refused at the national level. I think from a lack of understanding of what good Facebook can do for their communication because even the page created for the whole NPO is very low on fans and hardly ever updated. I've got plenty of examples of NGOs doing well on Facebook. But what I'd love to find an example of an NGOs doing good work on Facebook through local chapters and (in my dreams) get my hands on guideline document that explains to local chapters how they should go about creating the page in accordance with the NGOs. Implementing Pinterest On Site and Social Snippets
Hi can someone confirm, does Pinterest use Open Graph Protocol? If you use the Pinterest Widget builder - http://business.pinterest.com/widget-builder/#do_pin_it_button Will the image you place in the widget replace the image Pinterest selects if it does use the Open Graph Protocol? The site already uses Open Graph Protocol for Facebook and Google+. It also uses Twitter cards for twitter. It would be good if we don't need to add more html (such as from the Pinterest widget builder) for Pinterest. -- Matt

Lost social share count after migrating blog
Hi, Yesterday I migrated our blog to a new domain. It seems it went smoothly and all 301 redirects were implemented and are working properly, however, the social share count was lost across all posts and has returned to zero. Is there any easy way I can recover our social share counts across the board? I am using the **1-click Retweet/Share/Like **plugin for Wordpress. Any help on this would be much appreciated. How to coordinate blog, facebook and twitter.
I have a small law firm with a website including a blog, as well as accounts with Twitter and FB. I usually write a blog on the website then reference and link to that blog from twitter and FB. I also do short blogs that are basically links to other interesting articles about my field, and link to those as well. Is this helpful or correct from he perspective of SEO for the website? Is there a particular way to do this? I have much to learn so any comments are welcome. Many thanks.

Focus Facebook Likes and +1 to URL or Page?
We are considering adding the +1 and facebook like widget to the footer of all our pages, but we can't decide whether to point them to our URL or to our respective Google Plus / Facebook Page. Ideally, we would prefer poiting them to our pages instead of our site URL, but I'm not so sure if we would get as much SEO advantage that way. I was looking for feedback towards the SEO advantages / disadvantages of this at what strategy you guys use. For example: Having +1 our URL would be shown to their friends at the organic results. Having +1 our page would grow our profile, allowing us to communicate with them and would also enable people search +Duplika at Google (like it happens with big brands). What do you suggest?
