National SEO

Hi,
I have a serious problem with the domain Spam Score (44%) which seems to have a direct impact on the website ranking nationwide in Germany. The domain itself is not Spammy as I managed to disallow all the unwanted Backlinks and the domain is not penalised by Google Search Console. It ranks very well locally for local keywords but would not show among the 100 positions nationwide as it used to do a couple of years ago, even if I implemented the right SEO strategies and the right backlinks, it just doesn't rank in Germany for national SEO.
This is the website in question: Übersetzungsbüro Kaiwords, do you think there is a way to lower the Spam Score, is there any chance that the website ranks again for national SEO? -
@sarahwalsh the website would appear within the 100 first positions and then it would not show anymore. It has been like that since some time now. When I created this page about sworn translation Englisch-German agency in Baden-Baden it appears almost directly on the first page of local search.
This is also the case with every other new page created for the purpose of local search ranking. So I may think it's a question of time and of getting more quality BLs. -
It could just be, that the businesses now on page one of Google, have more quality do-follow links, where is the business ranked nationally at the moment? We had a similar problem with our own SEO agency, yet building more quality links, we are starting to get back on page one again.

perhaps by featuring content related to international Dubai projects.
Are you serious now? This is most irrelevant "whatever" I have seen so far.

Dealing with a high Spam Score can indeed be challenging, especially when it affects your nationwide ranking. One effective strategy is to focus on improving the overall quality and authority of your domain by acquiring high-quality backlinks from reputable sites, perhaps by featuring content related to international Dubai projects. Additionally, consider conducting a thorough audit of your site's content and technical SEO to ensure there are no lingering issues. By continually improving these aspects, you can gradually lower your Spam Score and potentially regain your national SEO ranking in Germany.

Audit Backlinks: Ensure all low-quality or spammy backlinks are disavowed using Google's Disavow Tool. Regularly audit and disavow new spammy backlinks.
Content Quality: Focus on creating high-quality, relevant content that attracts natural backlinks from reputable sites.
Technical SEO: Ensure your website's technical aspects (like site speed, mobile-friendliness, structured data, etc.) are optimized for performance.
Local SEO: Since you're ranking well locally, continue optimizing for local SEO, which can indirectly improve your national rankings.
Link Building: Build high-quality backlinks from authoritative sites relevant to your industry.
Monitor and Adjust: Regularly monitor your site's performance in Google Search Console and other analytics tools. Adjust your strategies based on performance data.
Regarding the Spam Score specifically:
Spam Score is a metric from Moz that predicts the likelihood of a domain being penalized or banned by search engines based on its backlink profile.
Disavowing bad backlinks helps, but improving the overall link profile with high-quality backlinks is crucial.
It's also beneficial to improve the domain authority and trustworthiness signals of your site through legitimate means.

How i can Reduce Spam score of my website
Hi everyone, I'm reaching out to the community for some advice on improving my website's spam score. I've been using the Moz Spam Score Checker and my website, sngplbill.pk, currently has a score of 7%. While this isn't exceptionally high, I'd like to take steps to bring it down as low as possible, ideally under 1%. One factor I've identified that might be contributing to this score is a number of backlinks pointing to my site has a much higher spam score (over 80%). (screenshot attached)sngplbillscore I'm wondering if the community has any recommendations for how to address this situation. Here are some specific questions I have: Does disavowing the backlinks from spamy site seem like the best course of action?

How to get rid of bad backlinks
So I noticed my rankings going down and spam score going up. So under my spam score there are over 100 links for different websites but ALL redirect to semalt.com I researched it and it says they hijacked a bunched of backlinks but don't know much more. How can I get rid of all those backlinks? I was told I could use the disavow tool but apparently that can hurt my ranking as well. The semalt.com site has no backlink to me - it looks like the pages that have/had my backlinks, they've redirected to them. For instance this is one of the links http://www.oxvideos.xyz/indianantyphotoxxx 422005fb-9240-40a4-8b65-f5b1f5079dea-image.png

Challenge: How to SEO a site with almost no content
Wondering what you all would recommend for SEO on this site: www.gudville.com Most of their content is behind a login. Basically there are 5 pages open to Google and to anyone without that login, and they are not open to doing it differently at this time. Once in, there will be a lot of sharing with Facebook friends that will include invitations to join them in their causes. Love to hear all your recommendations. Kathy

Smashing Magazine SEO article today: Question about a few things in it...
First off, here is the link - http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2012/06/28/content-creators-benefit-from-new-seo/ Right, Number 5 and particularly this part: 'Quick tip for creatives: Set up a personal Google+ profile and incorporate the rel=author link into your published content. (Instructions on how to do this are provided in the next section.)' Create a personal Google+ profile page with a high-quality headshot; Validate your email address; In the byline of any content that you create, set the anchor text to be your name as it appears in your Google+ profile, and link to your profile with a URL that looks like this:https://plus.google.com/102318046680468697385?rel=author. When your content is published, link back to its URL from the “Contributor to” section of your Google+ profile. So lets say you got a Google+ profile, you got a guest post going out on a Auth website, in the byline you have an anchor text link (which is your profile name) and your linking to your profile page. The guest post goes up, you go into your Google+ profile and link to the guest post through 'Contributor to'. How does this benefit your websites rankings? The only thing I can see it benefiting is the blog the guest post is on??
