Detecting Direct Traffic on Website

Hello everyone,
I noticed that most of the traffic we receive on our website comes from "Direct visits", and after doing further research it seems very difficult to gauge where these direct visits come from. What I was looking to do is find some kind of survey provider that can track visits from direct traffic visitors and poll them specifically on how they heard about us. Does anyone know of a service like this?Thank you for your help!

Do you use any site review system now? I use YotPo and it is really effective for measuring where traffic came from, what their experience on the site was and I even customized it to poll visitors on why they chose not to shop with us.
If people are placing orders on the site, you can also make it a required question on an order form. That would give you basic information as well.

Moz got problem crawling SquareSpace websites?
Moz sent us an email about our website https://www.openhill.com that they failed to crawl. I checked the forums with the same issues with mine and it looks like that Moz has problems with websites from Squarespace. I wonder if you do have a workaround on this. Let me know if you have instructions for me to fix this kind of issue. Thanks!

Website domain authority dropped from 55 to 1 in two months
Hi all! Our website DA dropped from 55 to 1 in a matter of two months. Last time I checked, it was two months ago and the website DA was 55. When I checked today, it is 1. Needless to day, I am shocked. The website has been around since 1995 and has always had pretty decent DA and PA. We made a couple of important changes during past 3-4 months. One is to support HTTPS and another is to implement the responsive web design to support browsing by mobile devices. What could be the reason for such a dramatic drop of DA in a short period of time? Is There any API from FourSqaure that allow us directly feeding business listings into it , Moz is doing same , so there must be some API?
Hi, i have seen "Moz Local" , has a option , "FourSqaure". I just a curiosity to ask that , is there any tie-up between FourSqaure and Moz , coz Moz must be using its APIs to feeds its business listings into FS Database. Traffic suddenly dropped from reports
Hey, I have a campaign, where in the past week all the traffic has dropped from the moz report (it registered 3 organic and 61 referral visits and nothing else) All other data remains. I checked google analytics and it's the same - traffic has suddenly dropped from 300 per day to 10 per day. It happened on April 1st (April fools?). I thought it could be a www. or non www issue, but this shouldn't affect analytics data should it as you only have on property there? Site is still receiving usual amount of traffic as I can check with Jetpack (it's a wordpress site) Any suggestions really appreciated. Cheers
