While Moz has many great tools with lots of features and benefits, I am not aware of anything from them to check for external duplicate content. You may try http://www.copyscape.com/ or copy and pasting sections of text within quotes to search Google for duplicates, or this tool can help as well http://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/

Duplicate Content - Multiple URL's
I know a few of these problems come from products being in the same categories but I have no idea how to get rid of the url's that are showing duplicate content when the product is in the exact same place. Hard to explain, but here are URL examples. http://www.ocelco.com/store/pc/www.ocelco.com/store/pc/Bathtub-Floor-Corner-Stainless-Steel-Grab-Bar-Right-Hand-left-hand-pictured-688p3308.htm http://www.ocelco.com/store/pc/www.ocelco.com/store/pc/Bathtub-Floor-Corner-Stainless-Steel-Grab-Bar-Right-Hand-left-hand-pictured-696p3308.htm http://www.ocelco.com/store/pc/Bathtub-Floor-Corner-Stainless-Steel-Grab-Bar-Right-Hand-left-hand-pictured-p3308.htm http://www.ocelco.com/store/pc/Bathtub-Floor-Corner-Stainless-Steel-Grab-Bar-Right-Hand-left-hand-pictured-688p3308.htm Any Idea's how to fix / get rid of these URL's? Duplicate Page Content on pages that appear to be different?
Hi Everyone! My name's Ross, and I work at CHARGED.fm. I worked with Luke, who has asked quite a few questions here, but he has since moved on to a new adventure. So I am trying to step into his role. I am very much a beginner in SEO, so I'm trying to learn a lot of this on the fly, and bear with me if this is something simple. In our latest MOZ Crawl, over 28K high priority issues were detected, and they are all Duplicate Page Content issues. However, when looking at the issues laid out, the examples that it gives for "Duplicate URLs" under each individual issue appear to be completely different pages. They have different page titles, different descriptions, etc. Here's an example. For "LPGA Tickets", it is giving 19 Duplicate URLs. Here are a couple it lists when you expand those:
Moz Pro | | keL.A.xT.o
http://www.charged.fm/one-thousand-one-nights-tickets
http://www.charged.fm/trash-inferno-tickets
http://www.charged.fm/mylan-wtt-smash-hits-tickets
http://www.charged.fm/mickey-thomas-tickets Internally, one reason we thought this might be happening is that even though the pages themselves are different, the structure is completely similar, especially if there are no events listed or if there isn't any content in the News/About sections. We are going to try and noindex pages that don't have events/new content on them as a temporary fix, but is there possibly a different underlying issue somewhere that would cause all of these duplicate page content issues to begin appearing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!0 -

Mobile Website Resources
Hey everyone, Can you please recommend great resources for building mobile website and using proper SEO techniques for mobile? Just a list of resources would be great. I understand that this is SEO forum so at least basics for mobile SEO would do. I'm currently using http://www.howtogomo.com and WPTouch PRO (for WordPress) but would love to learn to build mobile sites myself, at least with templates or basic tools provided. Just want to know what's there to know and how hard it is. And if I can handle it - what SEO practices for mobile I should keep in mind. Thank you! Max

How long does it take for a campaign website crawl to be completed?
Our campaign website crawl has been 'crawling' now for 5 days. Is this a normal phenomenon or is something hanging up?

Use of the tilde in URLs
I just signed up for SEOMoz and sent my site through the first crawl. I use the tilde in my rewritten URLs. This threw my entire site into the Notice section 301 (permanent redirect) since each page redirects to the exact URL with the ~, not the %7e. I find conflicting information on the web - you can use the tilde in more recent coding guidelines where you couldn't in the old. It would be a huge thing to change every page in my site to use an underscore instead of a tilde int he URL. If Google is like SEOMoz and is 301 redirecting every page on the site, then I'll do it, but is it just an SEOMoz thing? I ran my site through Firebug and and all my pages show the 200 response header, not the 301 redirect. Thanks for any help you can provide.
