Issues with Crawl Test and SSL Certificate
-
So I have having issues with the Crawl Test being able to crawl my site accurately due to what the tool is saying is a "SSL Certificate Error" (804 : HTTPS (SSL) error encountered when requesting page.)
Only thing is that I have no warnings about this SSL issue in Search Console and when I check the SSL on https://www.sslshopper.com it comes back just fine.
Anybody know why this might be happening or have encountered this issue before?

Hi Chris! Kristina from Moz's Help Team here.
It looks like you have quite a few Crawl Test results, so it is difficult for me to look into what may be the issue here without a bit more detail. If you don't want to share which test you are referring to here, can you please email us at help@moz.com or click the blue message icon in the bottom right corner of the product to send us the details of which test you had this issue on so that we can investigate further?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

First thing I'd do is run a "smoke test" with Screaming Frog to see if it encounters similar issues.

Why can I see 404 pages in Google Analytics but nothing in the On-Demand Crawl?
Hello, I'm looking at some Google Analytics data for a website and can see a few 'Page not found's among the Page Titles, looking like these are 404 errors. To get a full list of what's 404-ing so I can get these redirected, the Moz on-demand crawl of the website has come back with no major errors and just a few metadata ones. Does anyone know any potential reasons why the audit has drawn a blank, and is there another way to get a comprehensive list of 404s, as I'm aware the Google Analytics data may not be covering all of them. Thanks very much Becky

How can I find duplicate pages from a Moz Crawl?
We have many duplicate pages that show up on the Moz Crawl, and we're trying to fix these but it's very difficult because I can't see a way to isolate the code where the duplicate is found. For instance, http://experiencemission.org/immersion/ is one of our main pages, and the crawl shows one duplicate of http://experiencemission.org/immersion. It appears that one of our staff manually edited the source code in one of our pages but forgot the trailing slash. This would be an easy fix but the problem is that this page is linked to internally on our website 2423 times, so it's next to impossible to find the code that is incorrect. We have many other pages with this same basic problem. We know we have duplicates, but it's next to impossible to isolate them. So my question is this: When viewing the Moz Crawl data is there any way to see where a specific duplicate page link is located on our website? Thanks for any and all help!

Does anyone else have issues with Moz's keyword search volume tool for Google's search engine?
It will show the search volume for Bing even when Google is selected. Then, if you select Bing, you'll get the same data as it shows for when you selected "google". So basically, this tool does not work for Google's search engine. Or it is most likely not a reliable way to perform keyword research. Anyone else notice this? Does Moz even offer a way to submit a support ticket to get this fixed?

Moz Crawl Showing Duplicate Content But It's Not?!
Unfortunately I can't give out the URL, but here's the deal... I have two URL's which have completely different content on them but are being crawled as duplicate content. Any Idea how that would happen? I'm not seeing any errors in WMT's. Has anyone seen this before? Is the duplicate content reporting based on a % of the page content matching as the same?

How Can I intreptret The Crawl Report Resulst?
Hello, I am new to Moz and I have received 2 crawl reports. The first one was ok. I made a few changes to my site plugins, and my next crawl report came up with 41 4XX errors. Basically, a lot of my posts. I went back to my plugins and saw the following plugins: 404 redirect plugin & Utlimate Tiny MCE I reactivated both. I am presuming that these must have caused the issues or maybe my site was hacked. I re ran a crawl this morning, but I don't know what the different headings mean or how to understand the report. Can anyone advise? My site is new and just started to go up the rankings...so quite disappointed with this set back. regards Chriss
