Banned from google !
-
Hello,
I realize (with GAnaltytics and command "link:") this morning that my domain host (share one) : "mlconseil.com" under which several websites are hosted has been banned from google.
Here below the websites :
www.amvo.fr :
www.apei-cpm.fr :
www.armagnac-les-vieux-chenes.fr
www.centraledelexpertise.fr
www.cleaning-pc-33.com
www.internet-33.fr
www.territoires-et-ntic.fr
www.vin-le-taillou.com
www.maliflo.asso.frI don't kow why, i use since end of january 2011 IBP, only for some submissions to directories and for managing some lists of urls. I submitted about 30/40 directories never at the same time , but raher day after day, smoothly.
On www.territoires-et-ntic.fr and www.amvo.fr which are blogs, i have installed some external rss feeds to display as articles, i decided to stop that but i don't know if it's related to such "blacklistage" from google. I don't use any nasty "blackhat" programs or else..
I'am really upset about that, i claim this morning with the same words as now, a new indexation but i don't know how long it will take ?Any idea ?
Which are the tools which could help me to scan for maybe any malicious maleware on my hosting provider ?
Many tks
-
Oups ! such shame, i mix the command up this morning ! in fact i used "link:" instead of "site:", and i have been misleading by the fact that my visits are down days after days with about 80% less than the previous month, so i tried to find a reason...
Awfully sorry about that..now all the work is to find what 's happening about such drop in my visits...
-
I have just started some submissions on directories , not on content farms..
-
tks, i check that from g w tool, but no malware were detected...
-
Unfortunately, I don't know of such a tool. It will take some more research on your part to see if other sites using the same server are getting the same treatment from Google. It is curious that Barry Smith was able to find your sites showing up. It's possible that Google's algorithym change has adversely affected your SEO results if you were relying heavily on links from websites that Google depreciated as "content farms".
-
Have you added webmaster tools to your site? - https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home?hl=en
That would tell you if Google had detected malware on your sites.
-
Did you mean to use "site:" as "link:" is (frankly) rubbish for giving you what links you have and secondly wouldn't show what pages your site has.
But again, if I use that it shows your pages. So you're not banned.
Are you saying all the sites linking to you have been closed down and that's why you no longer rank?
-
Tks for your prompt reply ..But how can i be sure that it comes from my host ?
I've got some doubt but i can't prove it unless i got some figures to prove it , a tool or something to tell my host its responsability..
-
Tks for the reply ...but how can i prove that the neighbourhoods from my webhosting is bad ?
Is there any tool for checking for sure that matter ?
-
Tks for your reply but i used for instance with the command "link:" to get all the pages listed from each website, now : zero ! And in GA all the visits and the referral figures are getting down and down...as days go by ...so i 'm sure that google put aside the domain..
-
bad neighbourhoods can make Google blacklist you. Move your hosting somewhere else.
Then recheck the content for any issues (duplicate content etc) and then submit to Google for reconsideration.
-
Can you clarify what you mean by banned, all your sites show up in search results for me.
-
If indeed your host is to blame for getting the boot from Google, then you need to move your websites ASAP. Applying for reindexing probably isn't going to get you very far if your host is the root of the problem. You might consider upgrading to a virtual private server.

Without prerender.io, is google able to render & index geographical dynamic content?
One section of our website is built as a single page application and serves dynamic content based on geographical location. Before I got here, we had used prerender.io so google can see the page, but now that prerender.io is gone, is google able to render & index geographical dynamic content? I'm assuming no. If no is the answer, what are some solutions other than converting everything to html (would be a huge overhaul)?

Malicious links on our site indexed by Google but only visible to bots
We've been suffering from some very nasty black hat seo. In Google's index, our pages show external links to various pharmaceutical websites, but our actual live pages don't show them. It seems as though only certain user-agents see the malicious links. Setting up Screaming Frog SEO crawler using the Googlebot user agent also sees the malicious links. Any idea what could have caused this or how this can be stopped? We scanned all files on our webserver and couldn't find any of malicious links. We've changed our FTP and CMS passwords, is there anything else we can do? Thanks in advance!

2015 Bing Disavow, should i copy and paste from Google?
So I just submitted my 2nd disavow file to Google, but what about Bing? I know i would have to submit one url at a time, but is it worth it? Is it safe yet to submit the same file from Google? I know Bing measures quantity of links and submitting the same file might hurt my rankings, but anything new in 2015?

Do some sites get preference over others by Google just because? Grandfathered theory
So I have a theory that Google "grandfathers" in a handful of old websites from every niche and that no matter what the site does, it will always get the authority to rank high for the relevant keywords in the niche. I have a website in the crafts/cards/printables niche. One of my competitors is http://printable-cards.gotfreecards.com/ This site ranks for everything... http://www.semrush.com/info/gotfreecards.com+(by+organic) Yet, when I go to visit their site, I notice duplicate content all over the place (extremely thin content, if anything at all for some pages that rank for highly searched keywords), I see paginated pages that should be getting noindexed, bad URL structure and I see an overall unfriendly user experience. Also, the backlink profile isn't very impressive, as most of the good links are coming from their other site, www.got-free-ecards.com. Can someone tell me why this site is ranking for what it is other than the fact that it's around 5 years old and potentially has some type of preference from Google?

How do I write tags on a youtube video for a local Google search?
I've been reading into tags, and I would like to know what the best ways to do them for a local search are. Right now I have a title that reads similar to, "Keyword1 and Keyword2 in City X" Would I make a corresponding tag that reads "Keyword 1 and Keyword 2 in City X,"? Or would I do "Keyword 1," "Keyword 2," and, "City X," as separate tags? Thanks!

Google Sitemaps & punishment for bad URLS?
Hoping y'all have some input here. This is along story, but I'll boil it down: Site X bought the url of Site Y. 301 redirects were added to direct traffic (and help transfer linkjuice) from urls in Site X to relevant urls in Site Y, but 2 days before a "change of address" notice was submitted in Google Webmaster Tools, an auto-generating sitemap somehow applied urls from Site Y to the sitemap of Site X, so essentially the sitemap contained urls that were not the url of Site X. Is there any documentation out there that Google would punish Site X for having essentially unrelated urls in its sitemap by downgrading organic search rankings because it may view that mistake as black hat (or otherwise evil) tactics? I suspect this because the site continues to rank well organically in Yahoo & Bing, yet is nonexistent on Google suddenly. Thoughts?

Instability on the server - punishment in Google?
My site has about 50k pages indexed in Google. We are well respected, and we believe our stories add much value to the user. However, we are having serious problems with my hosting service and the site is unavailable for more than 15 hours. Unfortunately we also have no provision for him to return to work. I wonder if this kind of instability can cause some punishment on Google, if so, I wonder if there is anything we can do to tell Google that we are aware and working to resolve the problem.
