Ranking Testing

At times when I change something on my site it effects my rankings. For my business I care mostly about my rankings in certain locations (not local). How can I see how I am ranking in various locations at a given time? I see several tools out there, but none of them seem to work.
For example I recently I added a badge to my site and my ranking dropped a spot locally, but I do not think it did elsewhere. The value of the badge is worth that if it is just local, but if it made me drop a ranking in one of my major markets it would not be worth it.

What about a tool that allows you to change your IP address to a different location so you can check rankings that way? Or are you ideally looking for an automated tools?
-
Sorry if my question wa confusing. The badge was just an example. My question was how can I see rankings in different parts of the US within a given time?
-
Of course however if its a badge it probably is on the up an up. That's why I don't believe that would make him drop an certainly not 1 spot.
-
Wouldn't it depend on what kind of badge and where it links to?
-
Adding a badge to your page should not make you drop any positions.
You also have no way of knowing if any links didn't drop or get devalued.

Page Speed or Site Speed which one does Google considered a ranking signal
I've read many threads online which proves that website speed is a ranking factor. There's a friend whose website scores 44 (slow metric score) on Google Pagespeed Insights. Despite that his website is slow, he outranks me on Google search results. It confuses me that I optimized my website for speed, but my competitor's slow site outperforms me. On Six9ja.com, I did amazing work by getting my target score which is 100 (fast metric score) on Google Pagespeed Insights. Coming to my Google search console tool, they have shown that some of my pages have average scores, while some have slow scores. Google search console tool proves me wrong that none of my pages are fast. Then where did the fast metrics went? Could it be because I added three Adsense Javascript code to all my blog posts? If so, that means that Adsense code is slowing website speed performance despite having an async tag. I tested my blog post speed and I understand that my page speed reduced by 48 due to the 3 Adsense javascript codes added to it. I got 62 (Average metric score). Now, my site speed is=100, then my page speed=62 Does this mean that Google considers page speed rather than site speed as a ranking factor? Lost rankings after disavowing links
About two months ago, I received an unnatural inbound links message from Google. Then I disavowed 58 (the worst ones) and now I can see that right after the date I submitted my disavow file I'm losing rankings. What would you suggest? I don't really want to revoke my disavow file because it has totally bad links. I have this idea to build 58 links from high quality sites (instead of the 58 I disavowed). Do you think it'll work faster (if at all) or I just need to remove my disavow file?

Can't seem to rank for keyword "home care grand rapids" - need some advice
I am trying to rank for "home care grand rapids" and am having a really difficult time. My site: http://healthcareassociates.net has better backlinks, keywords and other seo markers than my competitors but I still can't seem to rank. The keyword and associated keywords (home care grand rapids michigan, home health care grand rapids, etc.) are only 31-33% difficulty and my site/page rank is better than the leading sites. What gives? Todd

Page Rank - logarithmic or exponential
Possibly a really stupid question. Is Page Rank logarithmic or exponential? I've seen a lot of people talking about Page Rank saying it's logarithmic but when they describe it they're actually talking about an exponential scale. (Apologies if I'm showing a basic misunderstanding in mathematical knowledge - I studied Drama)

Can't figure this ranking out..
Hi, This is puzzling me. I've been in the second/third position for a week or so for my best keyword. That is for Google US unpersonalized, which is the one that brings more traffic, as far as I understand. It can't get MUCH better. Well, I can be first, but second and third position is really awesome in my case (highly competitive keyword according to SEOMOZ PRO). Then, why on earth my traffic for that keyword was 8 times better a year ago?? I mean, a year ago I received an average of 800 visits per day and now I can barely reach 90 visits per day being in the second / third place. Visits can't increase from 90 to 800 just for increasing one spot. I've never seen in my stats such drop in my rankings. I thought that due to google updates my site was sent below the 20th position or something. But my I was shocked today when I saw that I still have the second/third position Am I crazy or this looks wrong? The page title and description that shows in google hasn't changed, so people looking for that keyword are seeing the same as one year ago. It is not a seasonal or time sensitive keyword. My best guess is that people are now always logged in and results are personalized. Don't know much about personalized results but I don't think you can optimize much for those. If that's the case, then how on earth can we optimize a page if everybody is using personalized results? Is there a way to improve your rankings in those cases? Thanks, Enrique

I was hoping to put a report together chronicling my SEO performance over the last 2 months and couldn't find a place to see prior information.

Differences in keyword rankings in Google and Bing and Yahoo
Hi there, We have some keywords that are ranked so far apart on the search engines its puzzling. For example we have keywords ranked at say 10, 9, 7 etc on Google, not in top 50 on Bing or Yahoo. Stuff like that. Surely the algorithms can’t be that far apart? Is this indeed normal? Does anyone have the same issues? Thanks
