Leverage My Blog
-
Hello All,
We have a local service based website that caters to all types of services. We have a blog with over 130 original articles published. I recently hired three writers that each write at least one article per day. The topics we blog about are based on hittail.com and google webmaster keyword searches.
Besides writing articles, what else can I do to leverage this blog?
How are you all choosing topics to write about?

Well performing blog article
I have an article that gets a lot of hits, way more than any other I have. Is there a way I can figure out why? For example, Is there a tool to help me find out where people are finding it? Or another important factors I should look at? Thank you in advance

If my blog is on Wordpress, and I've installed the AMP plug-in, what do I need to do to get Google to start indexing all my posts as AMP pages?
If I add /amp to the end of any of my posts, I can see that the plug-in is working. It's been months since I installed it, though, and Google hasn't indexed any of the AMP pages. Am I missing a step?

Knowledge base for seo, announcing new articles on blog (dupe content)
Hi all, Im thinking of creating a knowledge base with all many asked questions in my company. This could be a great Link-bait source but also nice ranking opportunities i think. But sometimes some new articles are so actual that i also want to blog them.

Can i for example double post them (or post a big excerpt) on the blog and canonicalise it to the KB article?
Will links to the blog have equal value to KB links? And will this work?0 -
Blog.website.com or website.com/blog
Hello, I have a question, in some moz guidelines you can read website.com/blog is better/more recommended than blog.website.com. But when you look at the domain authority you see no difference. blog.website.com gets exact the same domain authority as website.com. So can somebody explain why website.com/blog is really better than blog.website.com? Or is there no difference? Thank you verry much

Could posting on YouMoz get you penalized for "Guest Blogging?"
From my understanding, Matt Cutts hates guest blogging, so I told all of the attorneys here not to write anywhere but on our blog. However, I realized people are constantly "guest blogging' on Moz, and considering how smart these people are, it must not be hurting them or they wouldn't do it. However, what I don't understand is why? Yes, I do get that the quality of what's on YouMoz is high and not spammy, but I got the impression that didn't really matter. Guest blogging would get you into trouble no matter what. Can someone clarify for me? Thanks, Ruben

Wordpress blog, transferring .com to .org
For many years now we've had a wordpress.com blog, and accumulated a lot of links from it as a result. We now have a wordpress.org blog and are keen to move all the old posts on to the new .org site. How can this be done without losing the links from the old .com blog? Thanks in advance.
