Video Links under meta description

Has anyone seen Google adding links to the site's videos right under the meta description for the result? I tried finding more information on it and couldn't find any. Anyone here know how to get a video link displayed with your search result?

Hi Matt, Thanks for the answer! I don't think it's site links exactly. I added an image to help clarify. It's very similar to site links, but there's a play button next to a video link.

Hi, This sounds like a 'sitelink' feature, whereby other pages from the top ranked site are shown below the meta description on google's results page. Unfortunately there isn't a way to manually turn this feature on inside webmaster tools - they simply appears for sites that Google deems to be worthy of such an honour. Once they do appear you can stop certain pages showing as a sitelink by disabling them inside webmaster tools, which does mean that you get a degree of control over how they're displayed. There are ways you can increase your chances of having sitelinks enabled which include things like ranking consistently well, having a high ctr rate on organic searches and (most importantly) having a site with well designed, logical navigation. One of our clients received sitelinks about a month after we started working with them whilst a personal project that I've been working on for just over a year is still waiting... So, unfortunately, it's just a case of being patient. To answer the direct question of how to include a video, this would be down to how your site was set up and ensuring that Google saw the video as being important enough to show as a sitelink. I don't have any experience in this though so wouldn't be able to give you any specific help. Oh... If you're really desperate, there's always the option of enabling them on an adwords campaign!!

Video Schema needs a 2nd opinion
I added a video on one of my client pages via html5, added the video schema to the URL, and submitted a video sitemap and the video still isn't showing up a week later in the SERPs. The keyword I'm typing in is a keyword that DOES trigger video results, so I'm wondering if I screwed something up and would like a second opinion. Search Query that should trigger the video: https://www.google.com/search?q=clinton+township+silverado+1500&oq=clinton+township+silverado+1500&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60.3798j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8 Actual page URL: (html5 video at bottom) http://www.moranchevrolet.com/models/chevrolet-silverado1500 Video Sitemap URL: http://www.moranchevrolet.com/video_sitemap.xml I've added videos in the past via the Wistia automatic schema/sitemap generators and it worked, but via the html5 setup its a little different (like no embed). However, the video appears to check out just fine via the Google schema validator tool. Please let me know if you see anything that doesn't look right. Thanks

How to build links with really good S3 hosted video using JW Player
I have a number of really good quality videos that are embedded on my own site. Many are "how to" or "what to do if" type video guides with questions answered by experts. They were professionally shot. So that I could reap the full SEO benefit from the videos, I have them hosted via Amazon S3 and am using an embedded JW Player. We have a video sitemap and, as a result, most of the videos have already been indexed by Google and are showing up in Google video search as residing on our webpage. Now the real problem is how to get some link benefit from them. They should be viable and valuable link bait. My initial thought was to do a PR Web type press release with the video embedded in it. The problem with that is that you are limited to Youtube and Vimeo embedded video which defeats that purpose entirely. PR Newswire has different issues but the end result is the same, I can't embed those videos with them either. As far as I can tell, all I could do with a press release would be to link to the videos. Moreover, I don't even know that press releases would be that valuable in the post penguin world but the hope was that people would share the videos naturally. So, I put it to the experts. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get some link benefit from these videos? Any ideas at all? I am stumped. Any advice would be appreciated.

How do I get my site to rank in Google Videos?
I have a site that has quite a few videos. When I do a search from Google video's using keywords for our site, the site is not listed with the video site although it is listed with the html site. So how do I get Google to recognize that the site has all the videos. eg google video search with keywords: social media "damon adachi" website: biztvcanada.com Thanks Janice

Best way to host video?
Hi, We are planning to host videos on our site for the first time. It looks like YouTube is a bit too over focused on ads these days for commercial use, can anyone recommend any better video hosting services? I also realize that hosting somewhere like YouTube has little SEO benefit, am I better off hosting them on our site if possible? Please share your experiences with the various services and methods of hosting. Thanks

Getting indexed into Google video search
I have a website that has videos hosted from youtube.com embedded onto it. I created and uploaded the videos to youtube and want them on my website. My question is which would be a better option, hosting the video on my website or embed them from youtube? I currently have them embedded onto youtube but when I do a Google video search I cannot find my company's website anywhere. My videos are shown on the results but they are linked to youtube and not my website. Is there a way to get the search results to show listing of the videos posted on my website?
