Are you getting any action from Google +1 ?
-
If you have added google plus one to your website you can check on the impact by visiting your webmaster tools account.
In your GWT account you will see a left menu item for "+1 Metrics". If you click on "Search Impact" you can see the CTR change attributed to +1.
Anybody seeing anything there yet?

I am not seeing any measurable results from Google +
In my opinion a Google + button is a waste of page real estate - at least for the topics that my sites are about.
-
Just curious on what sort of results you can share since Google + has has some time on it and is gaining ground. Although I cannot imagine not having Google + available as a site option considering the influence within results, I still wonder about real world numbers. Thanks!

Thank you for all of these replies. I was curious to hear experiences from others. We have displayed +1 logos on every page of a site for several days now, about a million pageviews, and are getting an average of one +1 action per day - that compares with a few hundred addthis actions per day. Addthis and +1 are displayed together in the top banner of the site.
I wonder if use will improve a lot over time?
-
We added it along with facebook like button at the same time. After 2 weeks we have 9 Like's and 2 +1's, on sites home page.
-
While we had it there it got very little action. We removed it in order to fix the styling, will be back up next week - hopefully with renewed enthusiasm after Google+
-
We have also seen the same minimal numbers. But it was very interesting to dive in and start to investigate. I have been reviewing all sections in both Analytics and GWT.
It will be interesting to see which pages are receiving the most clicks vs. impressions.
Honestly, we just need more time and data. Not too much activity as of now.

I've seen some minimal numbers, probably just a few +1's on my company's homepage. I think as google+ becomes more popular (which I think it will), people will start actively using the +1 button.

Google June Core update massive drop in visibility and rank
Following Google Core update in June, I noticed that some websites has seen small improvements or stayed on same positions in SERPs, but our website received nearly 60% visibility drop. Now, after two weeks, some keywords shows "slight" improvement, while majority of keywords still sits on quite low places in searches. Even others big brands got hit after update, but some competitors didn't and overtook our positions. Anyone else noticed any patterns after update and can share some thoughts? Thank you.

Google ranking penalty: Limited to specific pages or complete website?
Hi all, Let's say few pages on the website dropped in the rankings due to poor optimisation of the pages or hit by algo updates. Does Google limits the ranking drop only to these pages or the entire website will have any impact? I mean will this cause ranking drop to the homepage for primary keyword? Will Google pose the penalty to other pages in the website if few pages drop in the rankings. Thanks

Weekly traffic from Google: How do you explain this?
Hello here, I have question for you. Please, have a look at the attached image from my website analytics which shows the unique visits trend of the last 2 months. What it is interesting is that every Monday Google brings me more traffic than any other day of the week, whereas on Saturdays it gives me the lowest traffic. And looks like that's a pretty regular weekly pattern. Why is Google doing that? What does that mean? Why such a clear and steady pattern? I am eager to know your thoughts about this! CGuULrN.jpg

Google and Wikipedia
Ok, I love Wikipedia as much as the next guy but the amount of weight that google puts on this site is getting crazy. My search terms that I am going after are "speakers" and "loudspeakers" Can somebody tell me why wikipedia needs the top 8 -10 spots for those terms? is that really a good search result for users of google? More of a rant then a question I know. I just needed to get that off my chest!.

Is Google Rotating Good Matches?
I have a theory that Google may be trying to be fair to white-hat-seo sites that are doing the right things with blogging, linking, social media, etc. [ie that deserve equal good positioning] are being cycled to and from the first page, perhaps in a weekly or monthly basis. My theory would be that they are purposefully doing it to give those sites more equal exposure. My case: I've had top rankings for http://thedogbitelawyer.com for almost all of the important terms for dog bite lawyers for a couple of years now. When Penguin came out we lost some ground across the board, and identified that perhaps there was too much duplicate content left over from when I inherited the site. I reworked the site wording and link structure a bit and gained back positioning. Since that time we are up and down like a yo-yo on the top terms! Anybody else have this suspicion? If it's true, I don't need to stress, if we are bouncing around for other reason's I'd better keep stressing!

SEOMoz reports now that google only reporting the average only the top position
Today Google announced "Previously we reported the average position of all URLs from your site for a given query. As of today, we’ll instead average only the top position that a URL from your site appeared in." Will this affect SEOMoz reports in any way?
