Has SEOMoz Domain Authority calc been updated recently
-
As ever, my apologies if this question's been asked before -- I searched for it, and didn't find it.
But, our SEOMoz 'Domain Authority' has recently really jumped (from 67, where it was for many months, to 77). And, our number of Linking Root Domains increased as well, from 1,986 to 3,349)
Of course, none of this has translated into Google goodness, but if any of it's true, maybe it WILL in the future? Any thoughts/ideas?
Thanks,
Dave (www.TeachStreet.com)

I saw that the Google Pagerank was updated (again!) yesterday, maybe it's a connection? I don't really know if the DA has a connection with PR but if it has - maybe that's the answer.
Ryan, I'm pretty sure that juli 25th was the last time all data was updated (as you say). Therefore I think Dave's question is eligible.

The DA figures in your SEOmoz toolbar should have changed on July 25th when the Linkscape index updated. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken but I believe the toolbar only updates when the Linkscape index updates.
Increased DA is a good sign for your site and let's you know your site is measurably improving it's link support. The change needs to be taken in context. It's not as if when you see your DA improve that you should run to Google and check your current rankings. Google rankings change daily, and in fact can change throughout a day. Google updates their metrics constantly where the Linkscape index updates around once per month.

We're back. THANK YOU SEOMoz!
To all the Mozzers reading this, I joined SEOMoz in a panic when we were seeing the first hints of an impending ranking crisis for our company website in October, 2012. We tanked in late December for our most important keywords. Simply GONE. Holy C---! It was devastating to say the least. Thankfully, we have a lot of work due to current clients and referrals, but the phone got quiet. That's a deadly sound.15 years of comfort zone gone. I still don't know precisely why it happened, it may have been a number of factors. But I've learned a huge amount through this crisis and can honestly say that I'm glad it happened. How weird is that? But what other fire under my butt would have gained me so much curiosity, fascination, engagement and excitement with deepening my scant knowledge? A week ago, we got our first report showing us that we have now gotten back our positions on page 1 for the 10 keywords that matter. It's continuing to improve according to today's report. So now that I've gotten somewhere- and I am well aware that it may not stick and there is still more to do -it's time to shout out a great big "Thank You". Truly, I don't think I could have survived this situation without SEOMoz and all you wonderful Mozers answering my frantic questions and lending your expertise and support to my situation. It wasn't only my own questions and the responses to those that helped me through this. I have been essentially addicted to reading a vast majority of all the posted questions because it's so dang interesting. So I've been learning bucketfuls from other people's questions and responses. My own personal SEOMoz education. It's only just begun. What an incredible culture and community we have here. I feel I can say "we" now because I am beginning to feel a part of it. And I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I love this place. Thank you!

Panda Update Hurt, but why?
Hi, my name is Sam and I am new to this forum and SEOMOZ. I got hit hard in rankings after the Panda Update and was really suprised. I do not use any black hat SEO I am aware of, do not keyword stuff, and dont even have a tag cloud. Just wondering what in the world I did to get hit hard. Anyone else have this happen, and If so what would be good SEOMOZ tool(s) to use? I will admit SEO has always confused me. From my experience it's not always the best site (relevance) that gets ranked the highest. I feel like I'm missing something with SEO. I'm hoping this SEOMOZ site will help. I may end up hiring someone from Elance to do my SEO, lol. Sam

Seomoz keyword difficulty api
Is there a way to get this from an api or a better method than pasting 5 keywords at a time into the keyword difficulty tool to get these numbers?

SEOMoz Q&A having some issues?
Apologies if this has been asked. I was browsing Q&A and got a Ruby error page, reloaded and everything was fine. However a bunch of the topics are kind of messed up, and it looks like a chunk of them are missing now. For example my 'questions I've answered' section of My Q&A only has the newest question and the oldest question, and when I sort the SEOMoz Tools category by newest I get one recent post and then the next one is from November of last year. You guys having database problems?

OSE Update: No direct .csv Export
Playing around w/ OSE post update. Love that there are social signals. Having issues with exporting to .csv via email. What's the reasoning behind this change? Anyone have any solutions for circumventing (i.e. downloading data directly to excel via API)?
