An error in the SeoMoz On page note?
-
Hello folks,
Whenever I go the OnPage link in SeoMoz some of my links show a F ranking note. And when I click in one of them to see the detail of the page rank, it shows me as an A ranking note.
Do you have seen the same problem? Which note shall I rely on?
Thanks!!

Hi Jorge,
I have not noticed this problem in my own campaigns.
If you click the F from the first screen it should show you all of the icons, but only the F icon should have reports showing next to it. There is a manual selector at top of this page too so you can change the letter to get a different set of reports.
There is a great explanation of how the On-page feature works if you click the Help link at top of the page and go to this help page.
If yours appears to be malfunctioning, best thing to do is click the link at top of that Help page to Submit a Request and ask Moz staff to check out your campaigns. Be sure to tell them which specific campaigns it is happening with to make it easier to track down.
Hope this helps,
Sha

Why would I be ranking for a term when it's not anywhere in my page or pages linking to it?
Hi, I have a keyword that's not anywhere in my page in page-grade tool nor are any pages linking to it with that term, why would that be ranking. The term is "dynamic card solution" This is a company we used to have 5 years ago and merged with our company. This term is ranking #1 for this page- http://www.datacard.com/instant-issuance-solutions . I can't figure why that would be even as this is a newer page in the past year. Thanks for any insight as I'm newer to moz. Laura

Duplicate Page Content on pages that appear to be different?
Hi Everyone! My name's Ross, and I work at CHARGED.fm. I worked with Luke, who has asked quite a few questions here, but he has since moved on to a new adventure. So I am trying to step into his role. I am very much a beginner in SEO, so I'm trying to learn a lot of this on the fly, and bear with me if this is something simple. In our latest MOZ Crawl, over 28K high priority issues were detected, and they are all Duplicate Page Content issues. However, when looking at the issues laid out, the examples that it gives for "Duplicate URLs" under each individual issue appear to be completely different pages. They have different page titles, different descriptions, etc. Here's an example. For "LPGA Tickets", it is giving 19 Duplicate URLs. Here are a couple it lists when you expand those:
Moz Pro | | keL.A.xT.o
http://www.charged.fm/one-thousand-one-nights-tickets
http://www.charged.fm/trash-inferno-tickets
http://www.charged.fm/mylan-wtt-smash-hits-tickets
http://www.charged.fm/mickey-thomas-tickets Internally, one reason we thought this might be happening is that even though the pages themselves are different, the structure is completely similar, especially if there are no events listed or if there isn't any content in the News/About sections. We are going to try and noindex pages that don't have events/new content on them as a temporary fix, but is there possibly a different underlying issue somewhere that would cause all of these duplicate page content issues to begin appearing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!0 -
SeoMoz keyword page grader report card
Hi Ive recently 301 redirected old pages/urls to new pages/urls due to a site redesign. The seomoz kw report card is still reporting the old urls though with a significantly reduced score for most pages (i.e. from A's to now C's, from B to now D's etc). Does this mean mozbot is following the 301's & its actually the new urls being graded as such or is it referring to the old pages ? I will be adding the new urls to report card shortly but just interested in clarifying the above since i would have thought, if it is the old pages, they would not be reporting any score for those, or its scoring the new pages ? Many Thanks Dan

When I did my first crawl, I was given some errors.
Do I then need to re-crawl to make sure the errors were fixed accordingly?

SEOmoz showing crawl errors but webmastertools says no errors, need help!
Hi this is my first question and i couldnt find a similar question on here. basically i have a clients website that is showing 150 duplicate page titles and content errors plus others. SEOmoz analysis is showing me for example is 3 duplicate hompage URLS: 1.www.domain.com 2.domain.com 3.www.domain.com/index.html all 3 are the same page. after explaining to the guy (who built the website) the errors, he ensured me that the main URL is URl 1. and the other 2 are 301 redirects. however SEOmoz analysis doesnt seem to change the results and webmastertools doesnt seem to show any errors at all. also if i try all 3 URL's there are no redirects to URL 1. any help or clarity would be awesome! Thanks e-bob

How come they dont show info to SEOMOZ Should I link out from home page, is this detrimental does ANY single link from home page show google that I am not a PROPER web business. thanks

Domain vs Page
I see a lot of different metrics pointing to domain or page. What is the difference between these two definitions?

SEOmoz Toolbar vs. Opensiteexplorer
Dumb question, why is the SEOmoz Toolbar reporting vastly different data than opensitexplorer? I had assumed they pulled from the same data set. False assumption? Am I misinterpreting the metrics? The discrepancies with which I am most confused are differences in number of root linking domains between OSE and Toolbar. Please enlighten me.
