I want to track video downloads in GA.

1. Is the following code correct ?

2\. Will it show no. of persons who clicked on the  "play" link or  how many times video was downloaded ?

Quite a short answer: This would give you the number of persons who clicked on the play link ans saves it as an event in Google Analytics.
