How long does it take for a campaign website crawl to be completed?
-
Our campaign website crawl has been 'crawling' now for 5 days. Is this a normal phenomenon or is something hanging up?
-
Thanks Nick!
Honestly, I have searched how I could address a technical question but up till now have not been able to find how to address a problem. Just a hint.

Next crawl in progress there for 5 days? Wow, no, unless you've got an absolutely huge site that shouldn't happen. I'd send in a trouble ticket.
-
That is actually what I am referring to: it says "Next Crawl in Progress" with the little beetle scrolling... but it has been doing this for 5 days straight now. It even says Crawl started on Feb 10.
So I am wondering, is it normal to be crawling for 5 days straight.

Swing on over to your dashboard. Find your campaign, navigate to crawl diagnostics. Under the first errors/warnings/notices box you'll see something like:
Last Crawl Completed: Feb. 9th, 2012 Next Crawl Starts: Feb. 17th, 2012
Your dates, of course, will be different.

FollowerWonk: How long have I been following someone?
Is there a way within followerwonk to find out how long you have been following someone for or indeed how long they have been following you for? I have downloaded the excel document from the "sort your followers" tab Which has sections called. "follows @name" and "@name follows" but these just give a last checked date(if they do follow/are being followed) rather than the metric I want!

Why is my domain not being crawled anymore?
I just noticed that right around 12/1/2012, SEOMoz stopped crawling all but two pages out of the 400 or so on my website at www.TrustworthyCare.com . I speculate that this is probably due to some dumb mistake I made at that time, but I can't for the life of me figure out what that mistake was. Before that, the weekly crawls included all 400 or so pages. I wonder whether it's something that changed in our .htaccess file. Here's how that file looks now; can anyone see what is wrong there, or perhaps offer other suggestions if it doesn't look like anything is wrong in it? Thanks! Tim PS - I'm a small business owner, not an SEO or software engineer. PPS - I found and read this page, but I've pretty much tried the things described there (I think): How to download an entire Website (HTML only), ready to rehost
Hi all, I work for a large retail brand and we have lots of counterfeit sites ranking for our products. Our legal team seizes the websites from the owners who then setup more counterfeit sites and so forth. As soon as we seize control of a website, the site content is deleted and subsequently it falls out of the SERPs to be immediately replaced by the next lot of counterfeit sites. I need to be able to download a copy of the site before it is seized, so that once I have control of it I can put the content back and hopefully quickly regain the SERPs (with an additional 'counterfeit site' notice superimposed on that page in JS). Does anyone know or can recommend good software to be able to download an entire website, so that it can be easily rehosted? Thanks FashionLux (Edited title to reflect only wanting to download html, CSS and images of site. I don't want the sites to actually be functional - only appear the same to Google)

How long will it take for the link analysis to be updated?
In an effort to evaluate SEOmoz I started off my free trial with a fresh website that I am going to get to rank on the first page and hopefully to the #1 spot. I have been link building and changing the website around a lot. When I created the website hosted by HostGator with wordpress installed I marked down where it showed up the first time. After checking for many days to about the 100th spot I found it in spot 65. I have since then been spending some time (not a ton of time, but enough) guest posting, some bookmarking, press release creation and some other odds and ends stuff. The page has gone up to 23rd but there have been no signs of any work done on the link analysis. So, How long does it take?

Is The Crawl Diagnostic tool working correctly?
The Crawl Diagnostic tool shows issues and displays a graph but they don't display the page specific results/suggestion like it used to. I get the "Congratulations, there are no pages affected by this issue!" message.

Campaign Manager Keyword Rankings all messed up???
My campaign in SEO Moz Campaign Manager has just ran it's weekly crawl, and all my keyword rankings are messed up. 18 keywords have apparently dropped by massive amounts, but when I do a physical search, they haven't moved. Also Keyword Tracker agrees with the physical search, so why is the Campaign Manager showing the wrong rankings all of a sudden??
