Is there a tool to automatically gather website SEO data?
-
I am looking for a tool that will crawl a website and create a spreadsheet listing out all key data such as title, meta description, etc.
Anyone know of an available tool to do that?

+1 for Screaming Frog.
Paid version can do more more depth/links etc, but definitely worth it. Can even build a Sitemap for you if needed. A must in any SEOs toolbox.

One more tool to share.

This is just an online version. Punch in your URL and hit submit.
I wouldn't hesitate to download Screaming Frog though, as I mentioned earlier. It is a fantastic tool that you will use a ton.

Check out SEO powersuite, that has a tool which will pull out quite an indepth seo report, it will also brand it with your logo aswell ready to send to clients. It doesn't export a spreadsheet though.
I don't use it anymore, however I did like its ability to create reports for clients.

Use Screaming Frog for this. It's a free tool and is very easy to use. Simply enter the URL to spider and hit start.
It will go through the site and create a spreadsheet listing of the pages, status code, Title, Title length, meta description and more.
The tool works on both PC and Mac. Download it here: http://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/

"Not enough data for selected time period" - Google My Business Insights
Hello All, Has anyone come across the following message "Not enough data for selected time period" when they choose a time frame in Google My Business (GMB) for one week. It seems to be consistent with "Customer Actions" and "Where Customers View Your Business on Google sections. I'm confused because I am pulling in a minimum of 500 searches a week according to the "How customers search for your business" section. I can scroll over top of each day in these areas and manually write down the results, but what's the point of offering a 'one week" insight if it won't calculate for you. If anyone has had the same issue or knows what's going on, please let me know. Thanks!

Which page speed tools do you trust?
We are at a loss. We have been following Google Pagespeed Insights which gives us horrible marks. Nothing we do seems to really make a difference. GTMetrix and Pingdom give us much better scores. We don't know what to do...

Is there an easy way to switch hundreds of websites to https in GSC?
My company has hundreds of websites setup in Google Search Console but will soon be moving them all to secure domains. Is there an easy way to make the switch in GSC or do we have to change the address one by one?

Problems with analytics, conversation data and assisted conversions
Hi guys. Having issues with analytics. Firstly, it doesn't record all our sales accurately. My boss downloaded a sales report directly from our site, and it doesn't match up to the analytics, our actual sales were significantly higher than Google analytics was reporting (by about a 1/3). Any idea why Google is missing so many of the conversions? Also, I'm trying to work our how many assisted conversion we are getting from our ad words campaigns. I've been looking through our top conversion path data to try find conversions that started with a paid click. However, I seem to have some inconsistencies. We have only one ad words group that is on the display network (Re-marketing V1 Ad group 1) , and according to analytics we have a conversion from it (See Screen shot 1). However, there is no record of this in our ad words data. (See screen shot 2). This is over the same time period. I don't know what to take from this. Can anyone help? Isaac. Is there an efficient way to block/filter referral spam in Google Analytics for a large network of websites?
Hello, everyone - I'm looking for guidance on how to block or filter referral spam in Google Analytics. But I'm needing to block for an entire network of Wordpress websites. We have two networks which total over 2,500 websites. We are currently blocking sites we find out about via htaccess. This works, but only after we see we are getting hit with the spam. Updating 2,500+ Google Analytics accounts with filtering is not an ideal option due to the time factor and the fact that new bots coming out almost daily. We can continue the htaccess method, but does anyone have any other ideas for blocking referral spam for a large network of sites? These are the other ideas we have. 1. Blocking all traffic from Russia and China based up subnets. We know many will still get through, but it should block 50% of it, we hope.

Referral Exclusion List - Data Questsion
This may seem like a silly question. Since we are having an issue with self-referrals, we checked all the pages and everything is tagged properly, I used the referral exclusion list to exclude our domains. Question is, since we had a large number of our revenue coming in from the self-referring traffic, what happens to that revenue data once I add our domains to the referral exclusion list?

Blocking our IP's but wondering if Google still uses our search data?
The company owner here has our (company) website as his home page. I excluded our static IP’s on Google Analytics, but is that good enough to keep Google from using his search traffic as an indicator of anything negative. Does Google still take into account his activity, but simply block it from my reporting? Finally, does one person actually have that kind of influence as far as time on site, bounce rates, etc. Should I convince him to find a new home page?

Page Rank Decline in Webmaster Tools
Hello Forum, My team and I just got through completely redoing an eCommerce website for a yoga company and I noticed that in Google Webmaster Tools our site's average daily position changed from ~25 to ~40 in the last 5-6 days (during this time period we submitted our sitemap). I exported the Webmaster Tools results and found a high number of new keywords (which weren't there pre-launch) related to yoga. However, these keywords are not related to the products we sell. Several of these keywords have positions of 240 or higher and are skewing our avg page rank. These terms include words like "cricket logo," "animal yoga," "dog pose," "cat yoga," We did move our blog into our domain name now and there are some articles related to animal poses. Any thoughts as to what may be going on? Thanks!
