Does Google use data from Adsense/Analytics to determine a page's ranking?
-
It's all in the Title!
-
Short answer is, no they do not.
Data might used anonymously for other purposes though. In the case of Analytics, you can turn off data sharing in your account settings.
I'm pretty sure the Webspam team at Google would have some sort of access to these as well. But nothing that would algorithmically affect your rankings. Like for example, access to these two might be a small part of their toolset to determine ownership of sites that engage in spammy interlinking. Or maybe they find an offender that is so heinous that they decide they want to de-index all his sites.
Google has better ways of determining of the traits/metics of a good site. In addition very few sites use Analytics/WMT.

How To Stop Google's "Fetch & Render" From Showing Up In Google Analytics
Hi all, Within Google's "Fetch & Render" (found in Google Search Console) is the ability to index certain pages from my website on-demand. Unfortunately, every time I ask Google to index a page, it registers as a bounce in Google Analytics. Also, if it means anything, my website (www.knowtro.com) is a single-page application, functioning similarly to Google. If you guys know of any solution to this problem, please help! I originally thought that Google would know to block its own Fetch & Render crawler from Google Analytics but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks, Austin

Problems with analytics, conversation data and assisted conversions
Hi guys. Having issues with analytics. Firstly, it doesn't record all our sales accurately. My boss downloaded a sales report directly from our site, and it doesn't match up to the analytics, our actual sales were significantly higher than Google analytics was reporting (by about a 1/3). Any idea why Google is missing so many of the conversions? Also, I'm trying to work our how many assisted conversion we are getting from our ad words campaigns. I've been looking through our top conversion path data to try find conversions that started with a paid click. However, I seem to have some inconsistencies. We have only one ad words group that is on the display network (Re-marketing V1 Ad group 1) , and according to analytics we have a conversion from it (See Screen shot 1). However, there is no record of this in our ad words data. (See screen shot 2). This is over the same time period. I don't know what to take from this. Can anyone help? Isaac. Analytics - 'other'
When i look in GA under Channels (under Acquisition) 'other' is listed What is 'other' ? I have been told its other unidentified channels as they did not allow 3rd party cookies or surfers were in anonymous/private mode. Other is usually organic traffic that couldn't be identified for the aformentioned reasons. This data is encrypted and available but it violates Google guidelines as they are not allowed to pass personal info//data to third parties so it is automatically filtered. But they are not 'Not Provided' (since that still shows under organic) but is usually/mainly some form of organic visits. Hence Seo can take credit for much of that traffic, is this correct ? Many Thanks

Client's Google Analytics account access is 'user' only from previous web developer
Just wondering if you have any advice on the following scenario: Client's GA account was set-up by a previous web developer. The client's GA account is a user account (not admin). When we request from the previous web developer that the account access be changed to admin, the web developer says they can't do that as we'll then have access to all the other GA accounts within their account. Does this mean we'll have to create a new GA profile for the client and lose all historic GA data? Any guidance greatly appreciated.

Rankings UP, rankings DOWN - why?
Last week, I had 14 keywords go up and less than 5 go down. I was so thrilled! Except this week, I had 10 go up and 14 go down! How can I figure out what is going on? I am up and down 30+ spots with Google. I'd really like to stay up. My site is pretty new, just a few months. I am still fiddling around with settings trying to follow all the advice I read. (robot meta tags, title tag) I didn't change any content in the last week. Does SEOmoz analyze the ranking data?
