Check large number of websites for a specific keyword (or its synonym).
-
I have a large list of websites, and I need to check if a specific keyword (or its synonym) is present on each of these websites. Ideally I would like to receive CSV/XML/JSON output to import the results into CRM software.
I was thinking to use Google Custom Search to query each website and see if there's any results. But it charges for number of queries, and I need to test thousands of websites.
Is there a way to solve this problem with SEOmoz tools?
Thanks

Are you checking to see the word is just on the homepage or any page on the entire site? There isn't really a way to do this in SEOMoz, but depending on the number of pages there are a variety of solutions out there. If it is large enough a list, you can use a scraper for hire like AuthorityLabs or 80Legs

How to optimize home page for several keywords
My issue is this. I'm getting a lot of "F" grades for certain keywords to my homepage using MOZ. the thing is I can't add to many keywords to title tag without going over 65 characters. It seems the title tag is most important and even though i have keywords in content and everything else, without title tag keyword its useless. can creating more than one title tag help or will that make things worse with search engines?

How does SEOmoz account for articles (a, the) and transitions (in, on) in keywords?
For instance, if I want to track traffic for a sports memorabilia store in Miami, and I only have "sports memorabilia shop Miami" as a keyword to track, will it track traffic of people who visited the shop's site after searching for "sports memorabilia shop IN miami"? Or would I have to use both "sports memorabilia shop Miami" AND "sports memorabilia in Miami"? I know Google doesn't show results with "in", "and", "the", etc., but Google Analytics tracks them, so I'm curious about how SEOmoz does it. Thanks in advance.

SerpIQ vs. Keyword Difficulty tool
http://imgur.com/6uidr Is this any good for keyword research? I see they use some weird metric and I'm not sure whether those are relevant at all, plus it's really hard to do a bulk research. Let me know what you think.

How to get a quick idea of competition for large numbers of keywords
As I do a lot of keyword research for my clients, I've found the SEOmoz Keyword Difficulty tool a great way to dig deeper in the competitive data for important keywords, whenever I am at the point of choosing between a smaller number of keywords. However, in some cases I would rather have a quick idea of how competitive a large list of keywords is (for example 1000+). As the Keyword Difficulty tool has a limit of 5 per run and 300 per day, I am looking for a technique or tool to run a list of keywords and get an idea of competitiveness for each keyword. Thanks for any suggestions!
