Wish you the best of luck. It is a very good thing you know about your field, that will lend authority to your site if you can translate your knowledge into helpful information on your website.Even the best SEO's if they don't know the industry will struggle, that gives you a leg up.
Good luck

Hi donford, thank you, constructive criticism is most welcome. I'm working on 'legal' link building at the moment, our site is only 9 months old, we've sold online for 10+ years.. I'm an expert in my field (hairdressing & seo) with this new site we are going to clear up.. I have learnta lot working with seo and adwords people and I'm now going alone.. and making much more money the they me us!
My online competitors are very successful at what they do, they advertise on TV etc, I compete with amazon, feel unique, look fantastic, gorgeous shop, etc
Any recommendations please do help.

Hi danatanseo, thank you for your fast input. .. I've found over the years (10+) that this is my most profitable phrase along with "bed head products" I rank 10. these 2 phrases are all I need!
Uni lever (new owners) are starting to use TIGI a lot more now as it has a brand new market place for them around this word?. example; a brand new range for salon only and not for internet sale (ever) is called "tigi hair reborn" I use this phrase to get cheaper visits with adwords?

Hi smoki666
I can't say for sure but here are a couple things I noticed:
First you are competing with yourself for keywords
Your homepage and your tigi specific page use the same main keywords. I didn't dig further but this should be avoided.
Second your Domain Authority (DA) / Page Authority (PA) is low compared with those ranking above you. To catch up may require time and effort link building.
I hope my points are not taken as criticism rather helpful advice

Have you tried reversing the words? As an experiment, I would create a subcategory page or even a landing page for "Bed Head- - Tigi" - My assumption is that Google is seeing you place more emphasis on Tigi branded products. I know Bed Head products because my kids use them. They call them "Bed Head" and never refer to them as "Tigi." I think it might be worth testing that assumption with a landing page campaign reversing the words. Just a though!

PA Score of 30+ to get Google Features
I was told that my pages would not be awarded a Google Feature until the Page Authority reaches 30. I had Features previously, but no longer. The PA for the URL is currently 22 https://heritageprintingcharlotte.com/products/meter-boards.php I have edited the content, built links and added schema markup to this particular page (and others) I'm looking for thoughts on the 30+ and how to improve PA. Duplicate content flagged by Moz that's not actually duplicate content at all
Hi, Moz has flagged a whole lot of pages as dupe content, but I cannot see how they qualify as such.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post actual URLs here....happy to if I can, but I feel certain that the pages are not 90% similar. Has anyone else had this experience? ~Caro1 -
Can anyone offer an example of a site or page that gets 100% or even close to that on Search Visibility?
I have a couple of sites that I manage that kill it in the SERPs and yet they get a low search visibility score from Moz Pro, I am talking 18%-19%, and another that ranks well has a search visibility score of 8.71%. I know there are factors that go into calculating the score, I am just curious if anyone is really up there.

Getting spam Links pointing to our wrong url, what to do?
Hey Mozzers, Looking in my Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools), I'm getting links pointing to bogus pages on my website that result in a 404. What does one do so you can tell Google that it has been "fixed"? Do i just 301 it to another website? If I add it to my disavow list, does Google remove the error in my webmaster tools? Thank you!

Rogerbot crawls my site and causes error as it uses urls that don't exist
Whenever the rogerbot comes back to my site for a crawl it seems to want to crawl urls that dont exist and thus causes errors to be reported... Example:- The correct url is as follows: /vw-baywindow/cab_door_slide_door_tailgate_engine_lid_parts/cab_door_seals/genuine_vw_brazil_cab_door_rubber_68-79_10330/ But it seems to want to crawl the following: /vw-baywindow/cab_door_slide_door_tailgate_engine_lid_parts/cab_door_seals/genuine_vw_brazil_cab_door_rubber_68-79_10330/?id=10330 This format doesn't exist anywhere and never has so I have no idea where its getting this url format from The user agent details I get are as follows: IP ADDRESS: 107.22.107.114

Something I'm missing META Description
When using the SEOMoz on page analysis for "luxury marquee hire" on www.katalysticevents.com it's telling me I have no meta description but my source code includes the following: Line 94 <meta property="<a class="attribute-value">og:description</a>" content="<a class="attribute-value">Katalystic Events - Luxury Marquee Hire</a>" /> Being a real newbie am I missing something here? I've included the info uploaded form my wordpress CMS, why is SEOmoz not picking this meta description up?

What's the best practice for tracking broad match traffic?
We use the Pro Web App for our keyword/ranking reporting. First, am I correct in assuming that this uses exact match to report the traffic? That being the case, is there a way in Moz (beyond entering endless permutations of our targeted keywords) to track traffic we're getting out of broad match searches? For example, say we optimized for and are tracking the keyword "lambada dancing llamas" for a company called Llarry's Llamas. Let's say that Moz reports little to no traffic for that keyword, but GoogleAnalytics indicates that we've gotten traffic from "larrys dancing llamas", "dancing llamas", "llarry llamas" and so on. So, obviously we're getting broad match traffic out of the lambada llamas, just not a lot of exact match, which is all that the Moz app shows. How do other people track this kind of traffic?
