Keeping pages indexed but making sure they fill out a form before access - confusing Q's

OK so let me break down this little scenario we have going on. I work for a b2b company so we have a lot of gated content that is behind a form fill out - this is how we get a lot of our lead generation.
Some pages that we have behind the form are showing up in search which allows people to view the documents bypassing the form. At first I thought, well why dont we just no index that page so that it does not appear in search. But then I thought it would be smart to keep the pages indexed to keep the SEO value,
Is there a way to keep these pages indexed but make sure that when they click the link in the SERPS that they need to fill out the form in order to gain access to the document? Something on the backend that checks to make sure that the referral URL was completed or something like that?
Anybody deal with this before?

You could have a model box appear on the page which contains the form (example: http://ui-patterns.com/image/2042/0/0/614) you can strip out any boxes which close the modal box, you could also put a delay on the box appearing so wait 10 secs so they start reading then modal box.
When they fill out the form and click the submit button a cookie is stored locally saying 'done'. Next time they visit the site the website check to see if the cookie done exists, if so don't show box, if not show box.

HI Will a Metadescription with GREEN checkmarks be perceived as spammy in general? Or is one with BLACK checkmarks better? Depends on the topic/target audience, etc.? --> see screenshots. No doubt that the green will stand up more (increases CTR) in the SERPS but if it is perceived as less trustworthy or even spammy by the target audience its not worth doing it. Same review across multiple pages
Hello, I would like to add reviews on some pages of my website, so it could eventually show up in the google search results with some nice stars. The problem is that the same review will be shown on multiple pages: Example: Reviews about France Reviews about French Riviera Reviews about Monaco (The review is about Monaco but as it's a town on the French riviera and in France i would like to use it to calculate an "Aggregate Rating" for the parent destinations...) Do you think that the use of the same review (with microdata) across multiple pages could be interpreted as a spammy way to get stars in the SERP and eventualy result in lower positions ? Or should I just use the Aggregate Rating without the reviews ? Many thanks for your answers, BR from France Evgueni

Is it better to get a new site instead of maintaining a category? I'm stuck.
If you had a website "Food for Dogs" and: Food for German shepherds was improving in search traffic & conversions Snack Food for German shepherds had no change and never resulted in conversions but resulted in many leads for #1 Food for Poodles was unchanged but improving conversions Here's the kicker... Food Container for Dogs was super high traffic but with no conversions or any activity to other categories Would you redirect "food container for dogs" to a different site and delete that tab from the original site completely? It's still related but does not offer any $ value or leads to any of the other categories. Just note that we have a different interest in this category that will support the other categories at one time, but not any time soon. We also have a major group on LinkedIN that's grown to thousands of members for the "food container for dogs" category. On top of it all, the "food container for dogs" has been increasing in rank on Google for several keyphrases to positions 2-5 (nationally) Other important question: Would keeping "food container for dogs" influence the ranking of the other keywords? (by dilution of the site's PR or any other reason?)

I am trying to make my site a better user experience please help

How can I pass the Search Term into a lead form?
We receive lead forms from interested visitors that include their name, email, grade level, and academic goals, and we would like to also know which specific phrase they used when searching for us. I need to find a way to grab the referring keywords and pass them as a hidden form field. Can this be done, and are there scripts available that can do this?

Landing Page Conversion Rates
I had a client claiming his industry (replacement home windows) conversion rate was around 15% based on his research. In my research i could find nothing of the sort, and really couldn't find a single place that provided this type of information. Anyone out there have some advice on where to research industry conversion rates (averages) or tools/thought processes to explore? Thanks!
