Can 2 sites co-exist in Webmaster under same owner?
-
He we have 2 website that have same exact content, both are redirect to one url. Is it safe to let google know by verifying both website with same ownership in webmaster tools?
thanks

It's hard to say without looking at the URLs. You can either PM or post here so that you can have more concrete answer to this problem.
If both sites are needed for users, only one of them should be served to the BOTS, so decide the one you need indexed in the Search Engines and then you can do a cross domain canonical from one website to another if that makes sense.
I hope this helps. I can clarify further based on the URLs current situation.

Thank you for your quick response Nakul. Content do exist on both website and ther are identical to each other. This is what our client wants. We did the redirect from our hosting company but I assume they did a 301 redirect?
thanks

Does content exist on both the websites ? Does one redirect to the other or are both of them indexed ? What kind of redirect ? I would essentially suggest to use Webmaster Console to use the change domain feature for the old domain from where you are moving content from to the new domain or I should say your main/preferred domain you want to keep in the SERPS.

I've run it through the Google checker and there is no malicious software found on the site. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this site unblocked? The url is http://knuma.co.uk/

2 accounts or one
I have accidently made my clients website into 2 websites. originally the site had a wordpress blog.... ie www.xxx.com/blog I gave the blog a name and attached a domain to it by creating a addon domain. So the address is now www.yyy.com instead of /blog The site is for an accommodation provider and the blog is more travel advice and location specific activites and places etc. what i would like to know: 1. Am I better off reverting back to /blog? 2. Am I better off with 2 distinct websites? 3. How would I have a 2nd domain on the blog without chopping my website into 2?. thanks!!!...

How can I get Google to forget an https version of one page on my site?
Google mysteriously decided to index the broken, https version of one page on my company's site (we have a cert for the site, but this page is not designed to be served over https and the CSS doesn't load). The page already has many incoming links to the http version, and it has a canonical URL with http. I resubmitted it on http with webmaster tools. Is there anything else I could do?

Site (Subdomain) Removal from Webmaster Tools
We have two subdomains that have been verified in Google Webmaster Tools. These subdomains were used by 3rd parties which we no longer have an affiliation with (the subdomains no longer serve a purpose). We have been receiving an error message from Google: "Googlebot can't access your site. Over the last 24 hours, Googlebot encountered 1 errors while attempting to retrieve DNS information for your site. The overall error rate for DNS queries for your site is 100.00%". I originally investigated using Webmaster Tools' URL Removal Tool to remove the subdomain, but there are no indexed pages. Is this a case of simply 'deleting' the site from the Manage Site tab in the Webmaster Tools interface?

Replacing a site map
We are in the process of changing our folder/url structure. Currently we have about 5 sitemaps submitted to Google. How is it best to deal with these site maps in terms of either (a) replacing the old URLs with the new ones in the site map and (b) what affect should we have if we removed the site map submission from the Google Webmaster Tools console. Basically we have in the region of 20,000 urls to redirect to the new format, and to update in the site map.

Does 301 redirecting a site multiple times keep the value of the original site?
Hi, All! If I 301 redirect site www.abc.com to www.def.com, it should pass (almost) all linkjuice, rank, trust, etc. What happens if I then redirect site www.def.com to www.ghi.com? Does the value of the original site pass indefinitely as long as you do the redirects correctly? Or does it start to be devalued at some point? If anyone's had experience redirecting a site more than once and they've seen reportable good/bad/neutral results, that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance! -Aviva B
