Google images indexing on no-index html page?
-
Hi,
I wonder if a image can get indexed, included in google images if it is located on a html page with a no-follow tag?
Thanks for your help.
-
Of course, sorry. I meant content="noindex" - thanks a lot for your answer - thats clear now!!

It would not be an html with noindex tag? Because nofollow is used to links.
If your page has the tag:
In this case your images will index.
For an image not indexing, there is a meta tag "noimageindex":

i'd say yes they would get indexed unless you're using the "no index" attribute for that page.

Shutting down rogue G+ Pages
We are helping a client clean up some past agencies SEO work in G+ and needed to figure out the best way to shut down duplicate G+ pages. The pages were created with post office boxes, household addressed, etc to create a location in multiple cities. What is the most efficient way to shut down 40+ pages in 5+ cites? Do we need to get usernames/passwords for all of these to shut them down? Has anyone had luck getting Google's help on mass cleanup like this? Signed, Exhausted already!

I've done a search in Google Plus (logged in with another gmail account) but couldn't find my company on the results. Second question is that I am also not able to be found in maps.google.com, is this related? Thanks

Is city name really a no-no in Google+ Local description field?
I know that adding one's city name in the business name and category tags for Google+ Local is a no-no. And Google says so in its quality guidelines. But what about in the business description? I don't see that in Google's guidelines. Can anyone clarify?

Alt text in combination with images from another source / url
I have a feed that is parsed on my website. All images do come form another source( and url that differts from my site). However I can change the alt text. I concerns hotel mages worldwide. In order to relate the images with the different language I want to add a small phrase "airport hotel" translated in the laguages that are present on my site Example alt text will be alt="airport hotel: Mercure Schiphol Terminal" or in German alt="Flughafen hotel: Mercure Schiphol Terminal" Will this have a positive effect on my SEO despite the url of the images are not related to my site?
