Future of SERP tracking
-
Hi all
I guess we all know what happend to Raven, loosing its AdWords API and being forced into removing SERP tracking. If not, see more here:

What is SEOMOZ stand on this? Will you continue to provide SERP tracking?
Kind regards
Fredrik

Also from Rand "I can say that SEOmoz's plans for the long term do not include removing rankings data. We will be running a survey next week to gauge the relative importance of this data to our community, and then considering this over the next few weeks, at which point, I'll likely have more info to share."

From Rand, "Gyorgy is correct! We have no current plans to remove ranking data. I'll be writing more about this soon."
Authority Labs, who were providing Raven with rank tracking via API, also plan to continue providing rank tracking.

How many keywords do you recommend tracking?
I am working through thousands of organic keywords and would like to create a list of core keywords. I want the list to be small enough that we can really go after these keywords and track progress. I work for a B2B software company. I am thinking between 20-30 but I would love to hear any tips, opinions and recommendations! Thank you!

SERPs for English search terms in Google.es show NY and USA companies?
Hey Mozzers, I'm working for a client offering legal services in Spain for people from the UK. When I search 'legal services' in Google.es all the SERPs show sites from the US - mainly NY: https://www.google.es/search?source=hp&ei=tRbXWqzRDoSZsgGY6rmgCA&q=legal+services&oq=legal+services&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0l10.2835.4435.0.4512.15.10.0.0.0.0.297.1445.0j4j3.7.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..8.7.1444.0..0i131k1j0i10k1.0.clK-EZ4vVWk There are lots of Spanish sites translated into English and showing sites in Google.es such as http://www.lsosm.org/ offer no value - it's a very weird SERP - any ideas why? Thanks Bush

No SERPs contains my keyword phrase
Hi! I have a question that is the best described by an concrete example: When I use Google UK and search for a keyword "wood floor" why the top 100 search results show pages for "wood flooring" instead? Is it because that keyword is simply more popular and pages are in general better optimized for "flooring"?

Site not visible on SERP
Hi all, I helped a client on launching his website for a new startup : www.blubridge.com. The site is not visible at all on Google, even on the startup name. I wonder why is that... There was a mistake while building the site, they used a dev site www2.blubridge.com which was indexed by Google. The 301 redirected has been done, however, there is still pages indexed by Google for the www2, and the www is still invisible on SERP... Does someone know how to solve that ?

Is there any way to track search volume for a particular keyword on a day-to-day basis?
My boss has asked me to track the number of searches for a keyword (a particular company's name) on a daily basis this week to see how the volume fluctuates from day to day. Is this even possible? I should note that his request does not involve an active SEO or AdWords campaign. In fact, the company my boss is interested in doesn't even have a website at the moment. Thanks in advance – either for helping me confirm that it's impossible to track keyword search volume on a day-to-day basis, or for showing me the magical way to actually do this.

I have website which is being listed for a keyword which is not in the site. It seems that google is using a Thesaurus to find words with similar meaning. Is this right? How could this be used for SEO purposes?
