How to force keyword check?
-
I used to have only 5 keywords that I tracked, but I have just added about 100 more.
But when I look in the overview, it says: "Rankings Updated Every: Tuesday Last Data Update: 01/07/2013"
It is not Tuesday yet, but seems that it was updated on January 7th.
Will I have to wait another week? How can I force a re-check?
I'm in rush to get this data

Moz Help Team.@vzPRO - awesome plug for our Rank Tracker tool, we're hoping it will be back up within the next couple of weeks then you can get your rankings on-demand!

One of the tools we have here on SEOmoz is Rank Tracker but it's currently down because of Googles API update. It should be up in next few weeks or so and you'll be able to run real time rankings on a give keyword and site.

Thanks, I tried to search around as well — nada.
Yeah, SEOBook's probably a good way to go. But there really should be a function to force a rank check... no?

From my understanding, on your campaign there is a section called "Traffic Data". That is updated when the site is crawled. You'll see a little box on the bottom right that says "Last Data Update: 01/07/2013" (for today's date). I'm not sure why that is like that but I tried to look on help hub and didn't see an actual answer either. http://www.seomoz.org/help/traffic-data.
The stats should come out tomorrow and be updated with your new keywords but if they are not (actually either way) I recommend http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/rank-checker/

How do I create a segment that shows me all pages using a certain keyword? But nothing that doesn't have that keyword?
There must be an easy answer to this, but I can't seem to find it. All I want to do is create a segment in Google Analytics that shows all pages and search strings with "orthopaedics" in the title, with pageviews, uniques etc. If I simply navigate to "All Pages" in Google Analytics and then click Advanced Filters and do an Include Page Contains "orthopaedics" it works just fine. (See attached Screen Shot) But when I try to recreate this as a segment, it pulls in all other pages the users visited before arriving on the orthopaedics page I want to include, which I don't want. I can manually exclude each URL I don't want, but this is tedious and I feel there must be a simpler method I'm just missing. At the end of the day, I'm trying to create a list of every page and dynamically created query string that includes the word "orthopaedics" to say doctor X, your orthopaedics section generated X views, and here's a list of the pages. Keyword referrals in GA
Hi chaps, Quick question for you. I'm drilling down in GA to one of our eCommerce pages which has a pretty high bounce rate. I'm looking at referring keywords and they don't seem to make much sense. The page I'm looking at is a pretty deep page but the top referring keywords are all branded terms. The page isn't included in our site links. To explain a little further, this is the scenario I think is happening: User searches using "Brand term". They then click through to our homepage and eventually land on the deep shopping page (on a different subdomain) In GA Content > Site Content > Pages > Primary dimension set to keyword - "Brand term" shows as the referring keyword. Does this sound right? We have a custom GA script set up to track multiple subdomains.
