Need your thoughts on my site
-
Hi, This is my site: http://hemorrhoidssuccess.com/ I have got some decent natural links with a mix of different anchor texts. My main keyword is "Hemorrhoids Treatment", And i got very less exact match anchor texts.
Now i was able to rank for "Top Hemorrhoid Treatment" on #2 Page, but i was not in the index for the my main keyword "Hemorrhoids Treatment". Can you review my site and let me know, what i am missing? Do i need to get more links? If so with what anchor texts?
Will be waiting for your replies..
Thanks in Advance

SEOMOZ Keyword Analysis Tool

Ok, Thanks for your suggestions.
Btw, How do you measured the competition in %? Is it from Adwords or what?
-
Because:
Hemorrhoids Treatment is a Highly competitive keyword 69%
Top Hemorrhoids Treatment is moderately competitive keyword 49%
Which means that with the on page seo and the anchor text you have used can rank were you are now but it does not means that by using the same strategy will get you anything for a highly competitive keyword. To fight for those keywords you must show expertise in the area and provide value to Google users. In other words you are competing against Harvard, Mayo Clinic, WebMD, etc. Just remember that Google does not own us anything. They are a private company that will try to provide its users the best and most relevant information when they search. In other words build a site for your users and not Google. Concentrate on your site and not what Google will think about it. Then you will see how ranking will flow for you. Today is a good day to read very careful the Google Webmaster Guidelines. Follow them and you will be a happy webmaster.
-
But,
I am concerned with one issue here.
Why i was able to rank for Top hemorrhoid treatment, but not Hemorrhoids treatment?
I was not even in the index for the keyword Hemorrhoids Treatment.
Do you have any thoughts on this.
-
Wow, if someone ripped your site then you must try to contact that person first because they are outranking you for your keywords.
This is how I may approach your situation:
1. Change your site design or layout since it is the same as
http://hemorrhoidtreatmentadvice.org/.
2. Report that website to the domain registrar.
3. There is nothing wrong with holistic medicine or herbal medicine.
But you need to be the star of the topic. Provide information and advice
about the condition. Link to relevant authority information and keep
people informed. Always say something like the FDA has not verified this
information and consult your physician before starting any new medical
regime. That will make you Legit and a reliable seller. Brand your site.
Like I mentioned: that footer link does not make you any good it will kill
your rankings. That was old SEO that was killed by Google many years ago.4. Get a subscriber email list.
5. Link to your blog from the header and provide unique useful information.
6. Provide real contact information.
7. Add term of service and hammer that it is a herbal remedy so you will not be liable.
8. Add about us page and what you want to achieve with your site and company
9. Then concentrate on branding and link building but with a brand on mind. You can check SEOMOZ webinar on branding.
Best of Lucks

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion, but already there are a bunch of affiliate sites ranking well for that keyword and i am the one trying to rank for that keyword. Moreover, i am an affiliate for herbal products which offers treatment for hemorrhoids and there a lot of satisfied customers with herbal treatment and it requires no FDA Approval. I am not selling any illegal drugs here, You can search for the reviews of the products i am affiliate with it, you can see many good reviews, i just selected the best herbal treatments with good reviews. And moreover i am not offering any Miracle here.
And for your point visit official site:
Yes i am an affiliate site, but i am pointing to official sites only but not any fake sites. And that was not my site, some one ripped my site but ranking well for that keywords.

Your site Logo is an image with your domain name. <meta name="<a class="attribute-value">keywords</a>" content="<a class="attribute-value">hemorrhoids treatment, hemorrhoid treatment, treatment for hemorrhoids</a>" /> It is no longer used! Title tag: Best Hemorrhoids Treatment! What is your branding effort? Are you looking for a natural, safe and effective treatment? I will never rank you any higher than the last page of Google. Are you an MD to offer treatment to people? That is highly irresponsible. Take that from an MD which I am. **Hover over Visit Hem-Relief’s Official Website** it says that it links to http://hemorrhoidssuccess.com/hemrelief but takes you to http://www.westernherbal.com/products/Hem-Relief.html???? All of your links are doing the same. Why in earth will I would like Google to provide me your website if I am searching for Hemorrhoids Treatments? As an user I would like to have reliable professional medical opinion not a website with bunch of pills with affiliate links promising a miracle that is not FDA approve or backed up by evidence base medicine.. What are your terms of services? Is your stuff FDA verifiable? Footer link to your domain with keyword Hemorrhoids Treatments!!! Over optimized! plus also you own http://hemorrhoidtreatmentadvice.org/ that ranks on the first page with the same website your posted here. Duplicated sites? Why?

Google Indexed Site A's Content On Site B, Site C etc
Hi All, I have an issue where the content (pages and images) of Site A (www.ericreynolds.photography) are showing up in Google under different domains Site B (www.fastphonerepair.com), Site C (www.quarryhillvet.com), Site D (www.spacasey.com). I believe this happened because I installed an SSL cert on Site A but didn't have the default SSL domain set on the server. You were able to access Site B and any page from Site A and it would pull up properly. I have since fixed that SSL issue and am now doing a 301 redirect from Sites B, C and D to Site A for anything https since Sites B, C, D are not using an SSL cert. My question is, how can I trigger google to re-index all of the sites to remove the wrong listings in the index. I have a screen shot attached so you can see the issue clearer. I have resubmitted my site map but I'm not seeing much of a change in the index for my site. Any help on what I could do would be great. Thanks

Redirecting Ecommerce Site
Hi I'm working on a big site migration I'm setting up redirects for all the old categories to point to the new ones. I'm doing this based on relevancy, the categories don't match up exactly but I've tried to redirect to the most relevant alternative. Would this be the right approach?

Why is this site not indexed by Google?
Hi all and thanks for your help in advance. I've been asked to take a look at a site, http://www.yourdairygold.ie as it currently does not appear for its brand name, Your Dairygold on Google Ireland even though it's been live for a few months now. I've checked all the usual issues such as robots.txt (doesn't have one) and the robots meta tag (doesn't have them). The even stranger thing is that the site does rank on Yahoo! and Bing. Google Webmaster Tools shows that Googlebot is crawling around 150 pages a day but the total number of pages indexed is zero. It does appear if you carry out a site: search on Google however. The site is very poorly optimised in terms of title tags, unnecessary redirects etc which I'm working on now but I wondered if you guys had any further insights. Thanks again for your help.

Depth of Links on Ecommerce Site
Hi, In my sitemap, I have the preferred entrance pages and URL's of categories and subcategories. But I would like to know more about how Googlebot and other spiders see a site - e.g. - what is classed as a deep link? I am using Screaming Frog SEO spider, and it has a metric called level on it - and this represents how deep or how many clicks away this content is.. but I don't know if that is how Googlebot would see it - From what Screaming Frog SEO spider software says, each move horizontally across from Navigation is another level which visually doesnt make sense to me? Also, in my sitemap, I list the URL's of all the products, there are no levels within the sitemap. Should I be concerned about this? Thanks, B

In mobile searches, does Google recognize HTML5 sites as mobile sites?
Does Google recognize HTML5 sites using responsive design as mobile sites? I know that for mobile searches, Google promotes results on mobile sites. I'm trying to determine if my site, created in HTML5 with responsive design falls into that category. Any insights on the topic would be very helpful.

Hierachy in a Title Tag Needed?
When coding the title tags of a website, is it important to note the hierarchy of the website so the search engine can find that page? So, for example, the title tag would be, for a subcategory: Webpage Subcategory>Category>Website name Does this help the search engine rankings at all? Or can the search engines figure out the hierarchy by reading a sitemap or the HTML readable navigation? Then you could focus on the descriptive keywords of the subcategory page for the title tag. Also, should you always include the site name in the title tag?
