Enabling Webmaster Tools data within Analytics
-
Hello,
Im having a hard time connecting webmaster tools within Google Analytics
i want to be able to see search queries in GA
That's what Google tells me to do : "You can visit the Property Settings page in Analytics account management to change which of your Webmaster Tools sites' data you wish to show, and control which profiles on your Web Property have access to view the data."
I cant find "Property Settings Page" in google analytics, or anything that has to do with "Webmaster tools"
I was wandering if you can help me on that
Thanks

Hi Tony,
Are you sure you're administrator for this property?
Second, within the property settings you should be able to see something like this. On the bottom of the page you're able to configure the settings for Google Webmaster Tools.Hope this helps a bit!

Hi,
It says "You haven't added any web properties to your Google Analytics account
dont know what that means, i do have one property in Google Analytics.
Thanks for help!

Hi there,
You can find the setting on the webmaster dashboard or home. This is the page wherein you can see the list of sites that you are managing on the webmaster tools accounts.
Click on the drop down arrow of the Manage Site found on the right corner of the site name. Click Google Analytics Property.
You'll be taken to a page: Enable Webmaster Tools data in Google Analytics
That's where you can click on the site you wish to incorporate to Google Analytics. Try to refresh after you received a notice that the site has already been added to Analytics.
Thanks!

Google Analytics / Facebook UTM
Hello, I have a quick question. I am setting up conversion tracking for my Facebook ads, so I am giving each ad set a tracking URL (UTM) in order to see which ads are converting etc. Is it possible to see on analytics how much I am spending on these ads or a cost per conversion? Or does the tracking merely track general analytics data such as bounce rate, exit rate, revenue generated etc? Kind Regards, James

Google Analytics Goal Tracking Not Working
I am trying to install goal tracking for a client to measure leads from SEO, and I'm running into problems with the Google Analytics goal tracking not working. The only thing that I can think of that is preventing goal tracking from working is that the URL confirming page request URI looks like "contact/#contact-form-4475" and perhaps the hashtag is causing problems. I wanted to ask the community if any of you have run into basic conversion tracking problems like this, where you need to track form fills on a website via a confirmation URL/destination URL goal, and what you did to solve it? I appreciate any input on how to get data on conversions either by fixing the goal in GA or using a different tracking tool. Thanks!

Google Analytics and backlinking
Let say I have my main site and my secondary site that is optimized for a slightly different set of keywords (nonetheless still relevant to my main site). I have several links from a secondary site to my main site. Secondary site is on a different C-block. Do you ladies and gentlemen think that if I put both websites under the same google analytics account, Google is going to penalize me or remove some of the juice that is flowing from secondary site to the main site because it would detect through GA that both sites belong to the same entity?

How to filter pages in Analytics by multiple criteria
Hello, we have several pages with the same page title. Now out of all those pages I want to pick two. Let's call them "/page1" and "/page2". For those pages I want the following information (combined for both): Avg. time on page, Bounce rate, Navigation Summary Normally I get all the information under "Content" "Pages" and by choosing the "page title" as primary dimension and clicking on the respective page title. Let's call it "page | title". Choosing the filter for 1 page works fine (I just enter "/page1" in simple filter). But how can I filter for two pages ( entering " include page ends with /page1 and include page ends with /page2" in the advance filter will show 0 results). Thanks in advance
