What is the best ranking checker solution for 100's of sites
-
Hello,
We used IBP for over 2 years and it worked great. We were able to schedule every clients site to auto run and email our clients.
Now IBP is terrible due to Google's new updates.
We are looking for something cost effective since we have 100's of websites we check on a weekly basis.
We are either looking for a great software that uses proxies to check, or a service that offers unlimited sites and is cheap per month.
We have searched for many, however there are so many that we aren't sure what is good and what isn't.
We tried Jonathan Ledgers new one and it's not good, we looked into Web CEO and it's per amount of websites which is expensive.
We tried cute rank tracker which is free and added proxies and it doesn't work, it lags out and doesn't even track ranks properly.
It wouldn't hurt if it had a built in report analysis of the website as well.
So whats a good one?

Any free sites to check in rank.I have few sites.Any online site that can give data up to Top 100 searches for a keyword.

Thanks I took a look at all of them and I am impressed with the 1 time fee of AWR, but like I explained below I feel that the proxies are always an issue when trying to get accurate readings and reports. If there is a solution behind this I would be happy to use it and buy them now.
Have a great day and thanks for your response.

Thanks I gave them a call to find out more info. I wish I could find a 1 time fee, but I may not be able to, I guess it depends on if there are solutions for AWR proxies or not.
Have a nice day and thanks for your quick response.

Ok, I downloaded the trial and quickly realized that it runs off of my ip for searches. This generally doesn't go well, how do you get around the ip bans from Google on a hourly basis?
Sure you can use ips through IE, but that even gets a temp ban within 15 mins.
How are you getting around that for temp bans? We have some sites with 50 keywords that we rank check for.
The price seems fair since it's a 1 time fee, but i am skeptical of anything you download to your own desktop.
I know that others ran on private servers just rotate 1000's of proxies every few minutes.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Have a great day.

We use AWR and I highly recommend it. And yes, the domains and numbers of keywords are unlimited - we have several hundred clients loaded - also, its accuracy is comparable to any software we have used - and we have used a lot over the years.

Authority Labs (http://authoritylabs.com/) is the best service I've used, and they have a decent pricing model. They even have a 30-day free trial where you can check rankings for up to 1500 keywords.

Normally I'd recommend Serpbook or MicroSiteMasters but I think with all those sites and their inevitable keywords, you're gonna have problems with a high monthly fee.
Therefore, a one off fee is probably a better option. Check out Advanced Web Ranking (AWR) and some of their price plans - you can get white-label reporting for a $199 one-off fee. From what I can tell, you can track unlimited keywords and domains. Can't vouch for its accuracy or ease of use as I haven't used it a great deal, but it does come recommended from a few pros. Think it comes with some SEO tools too for a bit of a higher price, which may appeal to you given your question.
Hope this helps.

When Should I Ignore Moz's Report Canonical Missing?
I'm dealing with an eCommerce website which has a category, subcategory, products. Moz is showing all of these and the individual products as missing a canonical. The site is very thin on content at the moment, but all the pages are clearly different, and I don't see why they need a canonical unless this is some rule that eCommerce sites have to follow. Should I ignore Moz's missing canonical report? My understanding is if the product appears in multiple categories, then a canonical should be put in place to the product. Any advice would be appreciated. Christina

SEO impact of redirecting high ranking mirror site to the main website
During SEO audit for a client I noticed that they had over a dozen duplicate websites that are carbon copies of the main website. This was done via CMS platform and DNS. One of the mirror sites has about 400 indexed pages and has Moz DA of 42 and 137k External Equity-Passing Links. Full metrics comparison is attached. I originally planned on doing rel="canonical" on the mirror site but the CMS vendor never even heard of it and is refusing to implement it in the header. My only other option is doing one to one 301 redirects. Since the mirror site ranks well, even competes with main domain for some positions on the 1st page of SERP, what will be the impact after the redirects? Is doing 301's still the best option? Thanks! How do you check the outbound links of a site?
There are great tools like http://www.opensiteexplorer.org that will tell you all about the inbound links. What about the more basic and easier question: What outgoing links does this site have?

How can the differences between Moz and Majestic's link totals be explained?
Hello, Newbie here so this might be a really daft question.... We've a few accounts and are trialling different software - across a few campaigns, we're seeing big differences in link numbers from different software (namely Moz and Majestic). I'm assuming there is a really good reason for it - just can't find what it is! Thanks in advance!

Is there any alternatives to Yahoo Site Explorer?
Hi, Is there any alternatives to Yahoo Site Explorer? I want to find backlinks of some unavailable pages and YSE was a great tool to deal with. But when I used tools like Open Site Explorer, ahrefs.com etc., I couldn't find one same like YSE. Because when I tried, it shows'No data available for this URL' where on YSE I found inbound links. What Alternatives Are There? thanks in advance!

Why would Open Site Explorer say some internal links are images when in the source code they're text?
Hi, All! I was looking at OSE for one of my client's site's pages, and I saw that all internal links were said to be images. I was pretty sure their menu was CSS, and all the links were text. So I did "fetch as Googlebot" and looked in the resultant code of one of the homepage to see the main navigation bar. The navigation link for one of those pages looked like this: `onmouseover="doMenu2on(this);">[](http://www.mysite.com/solution_sub.asp?ID=8)` [``` <code>![](images/arrow6.gif)Anchor Text Here</code> ```](http://www.mysite.com/solution_sub.asp?ID=8) ``` The nav link for a page that does show internal anchor text in OSE looks like this: onmouseover="doMenu2on(this);">[](http://www.mysite.com/solution.asp?ID=5) [```

<code>Anchor Text Here</code> So there is an image in the link (it's the little arrow before the text to indicate a sub-category), but the anchor text comes right after it. Is Linkscape (and therefore potentially Google) seeing them as two different links to the same page and only counting the first? But it's all wrapped within the same <a></a>tags. Any ideas on if this is a bug in Linkscape, or a real issue, and what should be done? Thanks! Aviva``0 -
Which would you chose? Link on PA56 with 88 OBL's and 80 IBL's or a link on a PA75 with 225 OBL's & 40 IBL (Same Domain)
Which would you chose? Link on PA56 with 88 OBL's and 80 IBL's or a link on a PA75 with 225 OBL's & 40 IBL (Same Domain) Pretty self explanatory. I want to know what metrics SEOMozzers rely on most. If you are not an expert at evaluating links for large scale development please don't muddy the waters on this question with a thin and vague answer.
