How to make use of those traffics on non-conversion page?

I am working on a website which sells eBooks softwares, most of posts on the site are teaching people how to solve eBook-reading problems and will lead visitors to download and try the software.
But some posts are not related to the software, we just write it for traffic, for example: link-bait post such as top xxx romantic eBooks, free eBooks tools review, etc. These posts have got a pretty considerable traffic, but visitors just come here, read, like/share/comment, then leave.
Is there any way I can make use of these pages to convert?

You could also list 'related posts' or 'you may also be interested in' posts which link to your conversion posts.

You can Promote your ebooks in these post,in the ad areas, so you drive traffic to your own products instead of sponsoring other websites products.

Increase conversion rate to buy
I am trying to understand why my women fashion site has a very low conversion, basically zero apart from some occasional sales (last one a few months ago) There is a lack of organic traffic the to shop subdomain, but what worries me is that (email/social media) campaigns to existing clients who happily buy repeatedly from our brick and mortar store do not generate results, despite using promotion codes etc. Before investing heavily in PPC campaigns etc, I'd like to improve conversion. Too many pages or not enough?
I have an SEO question for you: My client is building a new website and wondered about individual pages for his items, let me break it down for you... He sells display cabinets, one of which is a shot glass cabinet. He has 5 types of the shot glass cabinets, that come in 3 different types of wood, 2 different mirrored backings, and with or without a locking mechanism... Now is it better, SEO-wise, to create 5 pages for his shot glasses, with the selectable options, or is it better to create a different page for each of his shot glass cabinet options? This would mean something like 24 different shot glass pages. He feels that the more pages he has, the more lines he's throwing out there looking for a bite, but he, and I, don't know if that is necessarily a good thing for SEO. The pages would be named slightly differently, but the copy on each page would read just about the same... What do you think? 5 pages with options, or 24 pages again with the ability to change the options. Side Question: If more pages is the way to go, what would be the draw back when he does this with his other 8 cabinet types and their multitude of configurations? Thanks for the help!

Large changes in conversions with consistent traffic
Hi Everyone, I am looking for some help, I have just taken over a campaign for a client and we are seeing huge changes in conversion rates overnight. The client is selling a health product and is consistently getting around 1-2k visitors per day. We are getting about 6% of the traffic to the buy page consistently. However, we have found that one day the order process may convert 1/20 of these visitors and another day it could be 1/80. We are only talking about 5-20 sales per day, but I am really confused why one day it can convert so well and another so poorly. The traffic being sent is the same and all other factors are the same (no split testing). There seems to be no logic, the day of the week does not seem to impact, it almost seems random. If anybody has any recommended places to look that would be very helpful as at the moment I am at a loss. Example: Sunday 15th Visitors: 1,279

Does the word next to domain gives more relevancy to the page of it's URL?
Whether putting a (category or brand) word next to domain is better than on the end of an URL? (i.e. domain.com/sony/tvs or domain.com/tv/sony) Which one would get higher result on SERP "tv" or "sony" in both cases? Or maybe they both serves the same?

Finally getting decent traffic but low conversions
Thanks to SEOMOZ Ive managed to get half decent organic numbers, although the numbers look good on my ecom. site conversion rates are low. Can anyone offer any help as far as converting visitors into buyers? Thank you!

Any providers offering a/b testing using JS callbacks?
Hi all, I am looking to test the impact of buy button wording on conversion rate. The website in question has a few thousand products on non-dynamic URLs. The common a/b testing products on the market restrict tests to a single URL, or you have to enter all the URLs being tested which isn't practical. Ideal Solution What I'd really like to do is: use the provider's web app to configure an experiment with a name and a description of the variations; use some JS code to run the experiment with a callback to carry out the variation. This would allow me to easily put this code on the product details page template. I've written example code below for how this would look. When the experiment is run, the provider's framework would a) tell my code what variation to run, and b) handle the measuring of conversion rate. Questions Are there any providers which work like this? Is there an alternative solution on the market? If there isn't someone already doing this, would it be useful to anyone else? Is it advisable to use meta refresh for Google Website Optimiser?
We'd like to track conversions using Google's Website Optimiser, but the conversion page is hosted on a different sub domain so Google won't allow us to use this as the conversion page. The plan was then to add a blank page on the original domain that contains Google tracking code and a meta refresh to the page on the sub domain. We would then block this page in the robots file so Google doesn't try to index the page with the meta refresh. Does anyone see any harm that may come of this? Or any other way around the issue?
