Advertising on Bing...
-
Hi Mozzers,
Just wondering how many of you had used Bing Advertising and what kind of results you got compared to Google's PPC ads? Just wondering whether or not to set up a few campaigns and trial it.
Thanks!

We use bing and see the same as Stephen and Branden report, however for our market segment (Financial) we also find this chanel to be better risk with lower bad rates. Evidently not sure how this would correlate to other segments but an interesting behaviour for us.

I run PPC campaigns on both platforms. Bing's CPC is cheaper than Google, and will result in lower CPA / CPL. However Bing/Yahoo only have 20% of the volume that Google generates. I recommend just taking your AdWords account and upload it to Bing. Same campaigns, ad groups & keywords. The only thing you will need to change is the text ads...different structures between the platforms. Other wise its definitely worth it. Bing is less competitive and produces cheaper leads & sales.

I do a lot of advertising across Bing, Google, Facebook and others so have anice view across platforms
Bing has the same quality traffic as Google but at a lower volume. I tend to copy across the campaigns that have significant volume and they work well. I suggest you try it with a few of your best campaigns
A word of warning though, the interface is some way behind Google's and I find it quite frustrating. The Bing guys are quite helpful on Twitter though ~~@~~BingAds

Do IP and/or DNS changes impact Paid search (Adwords, Bing, etc.)
What impact (if any) does IP or DNS changes, have on paid search campaigns? We recently performed an upgrade to our sites that required a datacenter change (but within the same region East US) and DNS change. We believe there may have been an impact to our ad campaigns in the form of suppression of our ads following the change, specifically - Google Adwords. Is there any information regarding this issue or has anyone experienced this before? Thanks

Bing Adwords
Hello Moz Community, I am curious to see if anyone else is experiencing the troubles I am having with Bing Adwords. In the past (not even a month ago), my companies campaigns were driving great traffic, with high CTR, Conv. Rate, and low CPC; but recently (start of February) traffic has increased (not the good kind) and CPC has gone through the roof. When I say not the good kind, I mean the traffic we are getting is not relevant at all to our industry our the campaign/ad groups targets at all. These campaigns have been running for a good year with regular maintenance and great results. I keep up to date with all the negative words, constantly am A/B testing copy and landing pages, and keeping up to date with good SEO/SEM habits. Since February has started like I said traffic has increased (not the good kind) and search queries seem to be more and more outrageous by the day. I guess my question is has anyone else experienced this and is it a possibility that Bing (Microsoft) loosened up their algorithm to drive more (I hate to say it) money into their pockets? I haven't heard/read anything publicly that they made such a change but I have read that they have had an increase in profit and a majority of CPC for accounts have increased without actual search share going up. Please feel free to share you thoughts about this and if you have experienced this in anyway. Thanks All, Brian

G Analytics Appears to Show Bing but not Yahoo Paid Traffic
I am running ads across Bing / Yahoo network. I have set up a unique destination URL for these Bing / Yahoo Ads, using Google Campaigns URL Builder. However, in Google Analytics it appears to keep showing as organic traffic from Yahoo. What may be going wrong here?
