SEO Consultant for site audit
-
Can someone recommend an excellent SEO who can perform a full site audit of my fairly large Wordpress site? The site receives about 14,000 visits per month but traffic is waining one month after a recent change. Need analysis of some funky stuff in my Webmaster tools and overall site review.

Hi, SEOmoz does have a market place, many great professionals there http://www.seomoz.org/marketplace, if you want to take a look yourself run your site on the SEOmoz campaign tools, you will see errors, 404s, duplicate content, anything that could be hurting your site from within, also use the http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/, to check if the links are still there or if you left out any pages that were getting links. i don't really trust GWT that much, the data is just too weird some times: back links that don't exist, strange 404s, etc. By experience I found that every time I have some broken links, even if they are only 50-100, GWT shows me like 10.000 new errors, after they are fixed, the errors on GWT start to go down too.
Some times huge design (code) changes can affect your site rankings on Google for a while, based on the an idea like: "if the people who link to you saw your site now that is different, will they still be linking to you?".
I wouldn't mind to take a look

I would be interested in taking a look at the site. Feel free to send me a message to discuss the details.

How to carry across/capture linkjuice during an SEO site migration
Hi there - I am planning out an SEO migration but this thought just occured to me: If the links into a site's previous URL went to the non-canonical version of the domain name - e.g. to: https://theguardian.com/uk and not the correct version of that URL, which is: https://www.theguardian.com/uk Then, if I do a redirect simply from the correct canonical version of the domain:

https://www.theguardian.com/uk - rather than the versions of the domain that are being pointed to by backlinks - e.g. https://theguardian.com/uk - then the migration will not be carrying across all the linkjuice from the previous site. So how would you suggest dealing with this issue?0 -

On-site links
Hi everybody, There's a lot of information about getting sitewide backlinks, but so few about on-site optimization. Is there a maximum of links to put on a page ? Is there a maximum of link that a page should receive ? etc ... ? So, what is the optimal strategy ? And I'm only concerned about on-page and on-site link, not backlinks commming from other sites. Thanks

Ranking a site in the USA
I'm UK based and looking at setting up a site to rank in the USA. As I understand it a .com TLD is best but these are used worldwide so do I simply need to set the geotargeting to USA in webmaster tools? Or is there a better domain to use? With hosting the site in US and on page content related to US cities (I plan to create a page for each US city I operate in the the city name in the H1 tag) will that be enough for google to understand that the page should rank in the US version of google. Also how can I view Google USA search results - when I go to google.com it automatically redirects to google.co.uk and I can only change the location on the left hand side to UK cities. Any help much appreciated!
