Socila networks in the footer

I have placed some social icons into footer by using some html code I found on wordpress .org but I realized that the links to my social networks are all follow.
I assume this a problem to have 4 follow links in every footer, isn't it?
Also the icons are in one line, is there a way I can add more icons underneath? The site is villasdiani.com

Meanwhile I used a bit of code I found somewhere, which also have the nowfollow tags as I also added 2 more social icons. I hope the code is good:-)

Hi Iris,
I don't see any issues in having 4 links to your own social network accounts without a nofollow attribute. They're your own social network accounts so why not give them the right credits. I think you shouldn't to worry about things like this, they're really really minor details.

Is social networking really worth all the effort?
Call me old fashioned, but I can’t understand the buzz about social networking, I really don't get it, who in their right mind spends their valuable time conversing with a bunch of narcissists, chattering about what’s on TV, funny pictures and bragging about what they’ve done or achieved, it all seems so phoney to me. My site is reasonably popular, I get a rough 50/50 split of my visitors from referrals and organic and an infinitesimally small amount of traffic from social – Oh yes I hear you say,” that’s because you haven’t fully embraced social networking.” But here’s the thing, my social traffic doesn’t come from me at all, it comes from followers of my own social network (forums and user of my software liking and sharing my products and content), who have kindly shared on my behalf. Now when I visit Analytics to study the data from social traffic I find that it gives a huge bounce, 100% from Facebook, 93% from Twitter and 79% from LinkedIn, when my average is just 39%. The same applies to time spend on each page, less than a minute for all of the social sites, when my average in close to 7 minutes. So ok, social networking for traffic is a complete no go, let’s look at it from the perspective of out reaching. How can I break into that? I hate TV, I don’t find pictures of cats funny and I’m modest and humble, how can I possibly even begin to converse with these people? After using Twonk I got followed back by a good amount of users, but had to delete most because of the complete crap they were sharing, do I really want to know that someone ate lasgne for dinner, read about the top ten english railway stations, or what colour lego brick is someones favourite! Honestly I’m not trying to be funny with this post, and no offence to anyone here, but I just don’t get social networking, I’d love to but it seems a complete waste of my time and effort.

Footer iframe link
Any idea why someone would put a sitewide non-clickable one pixel wide link within an iframe in the footer to a linkedin profile? It has thrown me.

How can i make our social network site rank higher?
Our site is currently not in the first 3 pages of Google. it is a social networking site that requires users to login/ register. Much of the content is therefore user generated and is as diverse as the users themselves. The problem is that SEOmoz crawler is not even picking up the keywords i inserted into the site. Does this mean that Google is not even picking them up as well? Our site is www.yookos.com

How can you bulk search by email for social networks?
Hello Everyone! We're trying to launch a Social Media campaign for our website and in order to reach more people and follow/invite them to our social profiles we thought of finding them by their email addresses (i read a post somewhere - maybe seomoz, maybe not can't remember). Can anyone suggest a tool or best way of researching ~20.000 email addresses to find out / filter what social networks have this email registered? Much appreciated! Alex

Scoop it is anyone using this social networking site to generate traffic
hi i have just come across scoop it http://www.scoop.it/t/gastric-band-hypnotherapy which is a magazine site where you can post items and news and i would like to know if anyone is using this to generate traffic for their site and generate links. I cam across it after finding out that links were coming to my site from the network and this morning i have signed up as a free member to try it but there are paid options. So I am my coworker have a differing opinion on social networking sites.
One of us says to join one or two, Linkedin being one of them and just work those. The other says to build profiles on multiple pages - everything from Merchant Circle to fastpitch , essentially any and all, and not worry about activity level, just get the link. What are your thoughts? Which approve will result in more effective optimization for clients?

Social Accounts/Networks Multiple account management?
Having tried Yoono and Tweetdeck I'm leaning towards Tweetdeck for ease of use.... Managing 5 facebook accounts, 9 facebook pages and 6 twitter accounts at the moment... Any other suggestions for tool or software I should consider?
