Follwer wonk is inacurate
-
How do I get the most out of follower wonk or how do I even get it to work? When I type in the name of our organisation, it shows a lot of mentions of our brand. Which is great but when I go the pages where we are supposedly mentioned we don’t appear at all! Is anyone else having trouble with this function?
Regards
Pete

Could it be that FollowerWonk is looking for just both of those words on the page, instead of as a phrase? Sorry for the delay in response, as I was out on vacation for a week.

Sorry I meant Fresh Web Explorer – Mentions tool, not follower wonk. The feedback I’m getting shows that my brand, Health 2000 had over 4000 mentions on Monday the 13th of January. However when I check out the links that supposedly mention our brand, they bring up general terms related to Health and make no reference to our brand. How can I refine this?

Do you mean Fresh Web Explorer at http://freshwebexplorer.moz.com/?
If you can give a couple of examples of your terms and the resulting pages, we can troubleshoot what's going on. Send me a PM if you're not comfortable with putting it in the general Q&A forum.

Hi Pete,
I may have misunderstood your question but it sounds like you are trying to use the tool for an incorrect purpose. Followerwonk is a tool for you to analyses your followers rather than see your mentions.
Also, when you add your organizations name are you adding the @ symbol first? Just put in your exact twitter handle. This will allow you to access your information.
Hope that helps a little,
Davinia

Unsolved Api limits on free plan
Good afternoon. I tried connecting free access to api https://moz.com/help/links-api/v1-archive/v1-free-api-access to retrieve DA data. After several requests to the api I got a message: "Your monthly row limit reached" Can you tell me what this error is related to? Or Moz doesn't have free api access anymore?

New to the SEO world
Hello, I am new to the SEO world though I realize it's importance when trying to make your site noticed. I am working with a shopping cart (Pinnacle Cart) and It has the fields to put in the data such as the meta tags, description keywords and whatnot. My problem is that I do not know how to use MOZ to strategize what keywords to use and how to populate them to the Google search engine. That said, someone told me that Descriptions for Section pages are far more important than keywords. Can anyone help or give me some insight on how to start this process? Once I have it all running, about how long will it take to propagate through Google? Thanks!
