Good job! This URL received an grade A ?

What does this mean ? This page still ranks very bad at Google. So what does it mean that it recives a grade A ?Also, if this URL recives Grade A. It should clearly be optmizied very good on the Keyword. Stil its on page 9 in google. That is very very low on this keyword. Alot of bad blogs, foreign pages, pages without the keyword in heading, pages without any good content etc. rank better.Does this score have anything to do with ranking on google ?Something is clearly wrong with this page. The on-grade tool wont tell me what that it is. And probably dont understand either, since it gives A. Is there anywhere I can check this page on what is wrong with it ?http://www.butikksiden.no/archives/5-toffe-canada-goose-jakker and Canada Goose jakker

Thanks! I Guess getting more backlinks is the ones I am missing. Anyway I Thought the Open Site Explorer was checking backlinks and taking this into account for total score. So when I score higher than many pages, this should be taken into account. Still I am way below these pages.
My page now moved 5 pages up on google since I posted this post. I wish I would have any answers on why it was so low rated and why it suddenly move 5 pages. If someone could show me any tools for this it would be great!
Also I dont see any improvement list for my page in my right hand column of the On page grader. How should I get this ? The only thing that I see is default suggestions below the grading on how to improve a page, or any site.

Hi Kim,
As Peter has suggested, the page grading is simply one of your tools in your SEO arsenal. Assuming all things are equal (backlinks etc) and you page is better optimised than your competitor, then yes, you should be rating higher.
Having looked at your page, yes it's a grade A, yet there are still some things that you can improve upon - they are clearly marked in the right hand column. Try doing that, first.
Secondly, keep building on your backlinks and you social media pages.
Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint!
Hope that little helps.

Hi Kim
Moz's On-page grader tool is used to give you an understanding of how well optimised the page is for SEO. As you will have seen, it covers a range of different tests checking each one against the keyword you have told the tool you are optimising that page for, and gives it a score A to F based on how well optimised it is for the technical on-page SEO factors.
However, a grade A score does not give you any guarantees of how well that page ranks on Google. What it means is that most if not all things on page that are set up correctly for SEO. How highly a page ranks in Google is based on over 200 elements some of which are covered by the on-page grader but many won't be such as off-page ranking factors including back links, social etc. Consider the on-page grader as one of the tools in your SEO toolkit.
In terms of worse pages than yours that rank higher, it can be confusing and frustrating, but there is no simple answer. However, I recommend looking at doing a competitor analysis for the keyword to compare your page with what competing pages are doing. Look at the keyword difficulty tool to do this: https://moz.com/researchtools/keyword-difficulty.
You may also find this Whiteboard Friday by Rand Fishkin useful: Why You Might Be Losing Rankings to Pages with Fewer Links, Worse Targeting, and Poor Content.
I hope that helps,
Peter

Moz shows duplicate content, but URL's are tagged with campaign tags
Crawl diagnostics shows a lot of pages with duplicate content, but when I check the details, I see that it lists the same page but the url contains a campaign tag, so it's not really another page that is serving identical content... Is there a way to remove these pages out of the Crawl Diagnostics?

Page Ranking by URL / Keyword
Needing to know how to find out the page rank of a URL that is NOT within the top 50 or top 100. Need to know that specific page's rank, not what our overall site's ranking for the keyword is. Can't seem to find any tool that goes beyond the top 100. Any ideas?

Percentage of good links vs. bad
Hi Does anyone know the best way of determining good links from bad links using the SEO Moz tools? I bought some directory links to two or three pages on my site a few years back. The were all very obviously spammy because of the anchor text and I didn't have a high enough ratio of good links to counteract them. I read somewhere that if more than 10% of the links to a page have the same (or similar) anchor text, it's obvious that you're on the bad list.

Getting relevant keywords from URL with Google KW Tool.
Hi, When I first start researching a site, I like to see what Google "thinks" it is relevant to. I use the Google KW Tool and enter the website URL only. I sort the results by relevance. I can then show the prospective client what Google thinks his site is optimized for and use that info to show him what opportunities exist to rank for terms more relevant to his business. I show him keyword, volume and I also get current SERP rank for his site. For larger sites, I do this for the top pages based Domain Authority. I want to automate this process using excel and APIs but Google refused my API token request. I told them I wanted to use the "Google AdWords API Extension for Excel" from http://seogadget.co.uk/google-adwords-plugin-excel. The Google API token team replied: Please note, after reviewing your application in detail, we are sorry to let you know that we won't be able to approve your token. We understand that you are planning to use the AdWords API mainly for Targeting Idea Service (TIS) and Traffic Estimation Service (TES) such as 'keyword research'. Please note that as per the Required Minimum Functionality (RMF) outlined in the API Terms & Conditions, using the AdWords API exclusively for TIS and TES type of services is not allowed. Q1: What does the KW Tool relevancy data mean, anyway? Q2: is there another way to get it or is there another way to do this? Q3: Is there a better approach I should take with the Google API team? Q4: Are there other APIs and Excel plugins that can do this, including the SEOMoz APIs? Thanks,

What would be a really good reason to pay for SEOmoz Pro service?
What would be a really good reason(s) to pay for PRO membership after 1 month free trial expires? What do I get here that I didn't already use during my trial, or can get somwhere else for free or less money? Not trying to criticize, just looking for facts. Thanks.

Bad on page optimization grade, still displays high in SERP
I'm looking at the keyword on page optimization report for my site and I have keywords where my landing page is showing up first on the SERP, but my SEOmoz on-page optimization grade for them is an F. Am I ranking high for these terms because no one is optimized for the terms? They are almost all directed at my home page, does domain authority play a role in me ranking high for them? Thanks for any insight.

Crawler reporting incorrect URLs, resulting in false errors...
The SEOmoz crawler is showing 236 Duplicate Page Titles. When I go in to see what page titles are duplicated I see that the URLs in question are incorrect and read "/about/about/..." instead of just "/about/" The shown page duplicates are the result of the crawler is ending up on the "Page not found" page. Could it be the result of using relative links on the site? Anything I can do to remedy? Thanks for your help! -Frank
