Website no longer visible Search Results
-
Overnight my website no longer appears in search engines for the two keywords I use. The website has been nicely climbing up (very steady progress to 42 and 73) the overnight it has vanished off the Radar. I have checked my webmaster account, no messages etc. Please can anyone shed any light on why this has happened? Website is http://www.securityjobsuk.co.uk
Many thanks in advance for any help with this.

Hi,
It is possible that you have had an algorithmic penalty from Google, and just looking at a few of the pages, there are concerns that you should address.
- First - the site looks unfinished with poor coding. For example, on my browser, your menu is all messed up
- Your logo is below the menu and callout box, with the logo space being replaced with a text version
- In your intro text, you have a link that takes you off to another site
- On the http://www.securityjobsuk.co.uk/security-vacancies/ page, there is evidence of slider code visible
- Looking at a few page titles, you appear to be stuffing keywords
- One link on here promising Security Support Officer, takes me to a page with no job
- The homepage mentions the word Security 50 times!
- Internal pages appear to suffer from the same keyword stuffing problems
Basically, lots of very spammy SEO techniques that need to be corrected. I would start by having a read though the MOZ Beginners SEO Guide and take action on lots of problems you have throughout the site.

Mobile site is not ranking in the mobile search results
I posted last month about problems with a mobile site, which is served from a separate URL (m.mydomain.com) as currently responsive design is not an option. The problem was that the mobile site was being returned in the desktop index along with the desktop site, and the desktop site was being returned in the mobile index instead of the mobile site. I have therefore implemented rel=canonical and rel=alternate as is advised by Google, but this has stopped the desktop site from appearing in the mobile index, but hasn't caused the mobile site to rank instead. What should I do now? One idea I have is to remove the rel=canonical and rel=alternate links so that the desktop site ranks in the mobile index again. There is a redirect in place anyway so when people click on a desktop link from a mobile search, they will still be redirected to the mobile equivalent. I could then set the m.mydomain.com to noindex to stop it from being returned in the desktop results and potentially causing duplicate content issues? What do you think about this as a work around?

Noindex search result pages Add Classifieds site
Dear All, Is it a good idea to noindex the search result pages of a classified site?

Taking into account that category pages are also search result pages, I would say it is not a good idea, but the whole information is in the sitemap, google can index individual listings (which are index, follow) anyway. What would you do? What kind of effects has in the indexing of the site, marking the search result pages as "search results" with schema.org microdata? Many thanks for your help, Best Regards, Daniel0 -

Website hacked
Hi I've been asked to help a colleague with his website. It seems to be hacked. He recently received an e-mail from Google saying his adwords account was suspended 'due to high probability his site may be hosting or distributing malicious software' I just checked his source and there seems to loads of weird on code on his pages, this would not have been but on by any members of the website owners. Please image attached when we try to access his website via google search I just contacted the hosting provider - does anyone have experience with this and how to prevent such hacking in the future. The site is build using HTML with no CMS. IjW19.jpg

Would moving a large part of our website onto a separate website be SEO suicide?
Hello, Our website currently has what I would call educational and sales pages - which sells our services and also a techy section for the developer community. The developer pages on the website have some of the highest authority pages that we have and equates for about 50% of the content. It has been proposed to move the developer pages onto their own domain - away from the main website. Now, would this crush a lot of the SEO benefit that we have on our main site? Does anyone know of a workable solution that would help retain the SEO. Would linking to our main site from the developer site help? It would be great to hear what people think, Thanks,

How does google know a search result is a search result?
In the google webmaster forums, google specifically states that you should not include search results in the google index. What is the best way to make dynamic, great content show in search results without receiving a penalty?

How do you measure content on a website?
I never thought of this question before. Maybe because i didn't focus myself on content but only on optimizing existing content from clients. So how do you measure the content on a specific page?
