OnPage Reports - Duplicate titles and meta descriptions
-
Hi Moz,
I know you guys changed your interface awhile back but I have a question about the new reports. On the old interface, I used to use a report that would automatically run when I created a new account letting me know where the dup titles and meta descriptions were on an entire site. Where can I find this report on the new interface?
Thanks
Carla

Hi Carla, you can use the Crawl Test Tool Jesse mentioned to find duplicate titles and meta descriptions or any site. However, I believe what you are actually looking for is the Crawl Diagnostics Report, available for any campaign you have set up in your Moz Analytics account. To find it, go to http://analytics.moz.com/manage-campaigns and select the campaign of your choice. This will take you to the Dashboard Overview of that campaign. In the lefthand navigation, select "Search". In the subnav that appears, select "Crawl Diagnostics". From there, you can filter data and download reports. You can also schedule Custom Reports to be automatically emailed to you. Let me know if you needs more clarification on this, thanks!

Incorrect Reporting
Hi, We are trying to get a report for our clients for February but when we choose the dates 1st Feb-28th Feb, the actual PDF report has the incorrect dates on them (most say 6th Feb-22nd Feb). Is there any way to fix this because otherwise that will give our clients wrong information and in the long run it might be a decisive element for us to use a different keywords SEO tool. Many thanks, Leanne

Trying to duplicate Screaming Frog report
I am trying to use the crawl report to generate the Screaming Frog report shown below. I want to use it to calculate the internal page rank as Paul Shapiro outlined in this article. Google is not seeing my site the way I want them to and I want to work on the site heirarchy and structure. I am not seeing where: Type, Anchor, and Alt are listed in the crawl report - is it called something else? Is there another report I can run for the whole site to generate the data above? Does the Moz PA already calculate the internal PR of pages? Any additional resources or people that could help me with this? Thanks, SAM

Why does it show (in Moz) that we don't have any meta descriptions on our site when we do?
We have over 1,330 pages that say we are "Missing Meta Description Tag" when I spot check all of them have meta descriptions? Can you please explain to me why Moz is picking up that we do not have meta descriptions when we do. Our website http://www.betheboss.ca Please help. I would like a accurate measure of meta descriptions that are missing.

Accessing old reports
Hi there, Is there any way of accessing reports for a certain campaign that are a year old? To my knowledge the reports had not been generated, and if they were, they have not been saved in the custom reports section.

Moz ranking report shows massive loss in Bing SERP's. But it is not the case?
My weekly ranking report shows massive loss of SERP's on Bing. For most keywords I was no longer in the top 50 which where first top 5. But when I checked it out for myself, I'm still ranked top 5 for these keywords. I then used the Moz Rank Tracker and there it also says I'm still ranking top 5 for these keywords. What should I believe now?

Why do my top linking domains according to Webmaster tools, not even appear in my OSE report?
I know the Google index is obviously a lot larger than the MOZ index...but.... I have 8,000 links from blogspot.com according to Webmaster tools, and just one link according to OSE I have 600 links from an online dictionary according to Webmaster tools, not one is mentioned in my OSE report. I'd go so far as to say most of my top 10 linking domains according to Webmaster Tools, don't even have a single mention in my OSE report. We've been hit hard by Penguin 2.0 and I want to look at our link profile.....it seems OSE may be great for looking at my competitors link profiles, but for my own site it seems to be, well, not very accurate at all! So from a trying to do undo the damage caused by Penguin 2.0 point of view, should I just use webmaster tools and forget about OSE? Thanks!

Moz reporting reliable?
I have been working with our MIS department on addressing our errors on duplicate content and titles caused by parameter URLs. MIS insists that they have solved the problem with canonical tags, which are in place. They said they were getting warnings from Google and Bing, but that after they put the canonical tags in place, those went away. They are questioning the Moz reports, suggesting that I instead rely on SEO Toolit by Microsoft. (As an aside, we are using SharePoint 2010, crossing our fingers for an upgrade to 2013, which presumably will make a lot of the issues we’re having go away). So my questions are: 1) Why are these Moz reports reporting all of these errors that have supposedly been rectified (in 2011)? Do I disregard the duplicate content/title errors on the Moz report and defer to SEO Toolkit, as MIS suggests?
