Pulling large amounts of data from moz api
-
Hi i'm looking to pull large amounts of data from the moz and semrush api.
I have been using seotools addon for excel to extract data but excel is slow, sometimes crashes and not very reliable.
Can anyone recommend any other tools i can use, to pull huge amounts of data?
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!
Cheers,
RM

Unsolved Regarding Moz API token password update
Hi, In March we have updated password for MOZ API and used in our application it worked, but currently the updated password is not working and in the MOZ site the old password is shown and its active. We are using Legacy username and password.

We see that 5 tokens can be added for API, if we add 2 tokens both will be active.
We are currently using free services. Please help us resolve this issue.0 -
Unsolved Mozscape API subscription
We have questions regarding our subscription and the plan we are on. We are more interested in Mozscape API and not the features that we have access to currently. Will you let us know how we can change. Is there some one that we can chat with. Thanks,

Location Data Batch Updates via the MOZ API
According to the MOZ API documentation, I am able to update multiple Locations in a batch in order to create or update their location data, currently 130 locations. I have successfully created a batch and the API returned the $id, as I expected. Yet, it doesn't make clear how the multiple locations I want to update are supposed to be sent back to the API. I was expecting an upload of a CSV file or JSON data, and not Query Parameter as noted in the docs. When including a JSON file, properly formatted, as a binary upload, the response is still expecting a locations parameter. See error here: { "status":"MISSING_PARAMETER", "message":"locations missing. ", "response": { "locations":"MISSING_PARAMETER" } } https://moz.com/developers/docs/local/api#_api_batch__id-PATCH

In lue of the canceled Moz Index update
Hey Moz, Overall we love your product and are using it daily to help us grow, part of that has been to rely on the Moz Index for DA and PA as well as places where we are doing positive linking through genuine partnerships and reviews of clients. We were really excited to see any the results for this month as we have been partner linked from lots of high reputation sites and google seems to agree as our rankings are moving up weekly. The question from our marketing team is, since a significant part of Moz will not be available to us this month, will there be any compensation handed out to the paying community. PS: I am an engineer and I know how you have probably lost a very large set of data which cant simply be re-crawled over night but Moz Pro is not a cheap product and we do expect it to work. API Limit Question
Hi, I am unfamiliar with API's in general but never had an issue with being throttled until today. I used the api a lot heavier today which is why. According to the API dashboard I made 5100 "requests" today and 21,000 "rows returned". I am using a MOZ PRO account and have been throttled as a result. I am wondering when does it reset? Is it a daily, weekly, or monthly limit that I hit and what is the limit? Thanks

Are EC2 servers blocked from using the Moz API?
Hi I've created a script that I'd like to use to check a list of domains using the Moz API. It works totally fine on my local machine. However, when I run it from my EC2 instance, it fails every time. To be specific, the response is always empty (the response is an empty json array) when the request is sent from EC2. Is, for some reason, EC2 blocked by the Moz API? Many thanks for your help, Andrew
