Hello,
we are having issues with our wordpress woo commerce website sending ecommerce data to google analytics.
We insert the remarketing tag on the header.php of the wordpress site inside the tag but it gives us the following error:
1. Cannot find CDATA comment
2. Requires Validation - tried validating it with our Merchant ID but didn't work out, still says unvalidated. We also had our product feed uploaded on our Merchant Account.
3. Missing line breaksI had a theory that it should be inserted on each product detail pages, so I was looking for custom code plugin for woocommerce but still cannot find one.

Check the content of your "ecomm_prodid" parameter, usually the source of all nightmares.
When you include multiple product id you need to format it properly, and google example is wrong and missing a comma. I just googled to search for a good example: http://marketlytics.com/setup-adwords-dynamic-remarketing-using-tag-manager/

Why Product pages are throwing Missing field "image" and Missing field "price" in Wordpress Woocommerce
I have a wordpress wocommerce website where I have uploaded 100s of products but it's giving me error in GSC under merchant listing tab. When I tested it show missing field image and missing field price. Woocommerce add-to-cart causing increase in temporary redirect
Hi, I was wondering is negatively influencing the SEO. Woocommerce add-to-cart is, logically, a 302. However, MOZ is alarming that there is a large amount of temporary redirects on my site. Do I have to act on this or just leave as is? I change the nofollow to follow but not sure if this does more harm then good. Would like to hear some input regarding this issue.

Problems with WooCommerce Product Attribute Filter URL's
I am running a WordPress/WooCommerce site for a client, and Moz is picking up some issues with URL's generated from WooCommerce product attribute filters. For example: ..co.uk/womens-prescription-glasses/?filter_gender=mens&filter_style=full-rim&filter_shape=oval How do I get Google to ignore these filters?

WooCommerce category naming conventions
I am managing a woocommerce store selling prescription glasses/spectacles. We have a lot of categories with similar names and I want to adopt the best possible naming convention to get the best from search. So we have a number of similar categories for both Men's and women's glasses. Currently they are named as follows: Women's Glasses-Women's Rimless Glasses

-Women's Retro Glasses Currently, this results in the following URL structure for sub categories: https://www.glassesonspec.co.uk/product-category/womens-glasses-2/womens-rimless-glasses/ (For some reason WooCommerce is adding -2 to the end of the primary category name, it will not let me change it for some reason, this is the subject of a further investigation!) So first question, is there too much duplication of the word glasses on the sub items? for example, should they read; Women's Glasses
-Rimless
-Semi Rimless
-Plastic
-Metal
-Retro Hence giving this URL structure: https://www.glassesonspec.co.uk/product-category/womens-glasses-2/rimless/ OR, should we change the top level category name to just Women's and let the sub categories complete the picture?: Women's

-Metal Glasses
-Retro Glasses Giving this example URL structure: https://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk/product-category/womens/rimless-glasses/ This would solve my hyphenation problem, however my fear is the top level category on it's own is not descriptive enough when viewed as stand alone: https://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk/product-category/womens/ The second part of my question relates to how to deal with the change in URL structure. I am using Yoast Premium, so will that pick up the changes and automatically redirect to the new one as it does when done manually? Assigning WooCommerce products to more than one category - Correct methodology?
I manage a store selling prescription glasses, many of which are unisex or apply to more than one category. I have already assigned the canonical URL for each category, but my question is, if a product appears in more than one category, do I need to set the canonical URL in each product to reflect the category I want it to index under? Therefore, any additional categories that product appears in simply refers the link value back to the canonical URL. I note that in Yoast, under each product, there's note in the canonical setting to leave it empty to default to permalink, so this has confused me a little. I'm just concerned that by applying a product to multiple categories, it may be causing duplicate content, as I have a lot of duplicate issues which I'll raise in another question. Thanks!

Woocommerce and individual category/product set-up
Hi All, Very new to SEO but trying to make small meaningful changes to wordpress site. My question is whether it would be better for me to bypass this category page (http://liliglace.com.br/categoria-produto/personalizados/) (website is in Portuguese) and go straight to the underlying product pages by creating individual categories for each product. I think this will increase SEO efficiency and clarity on the site with regard to these 3 products but I am worried about having a Woo-commerce category page with just one product page. I know that the plugin goes straight to the product page but is there a risk of duplicate content regarding the unused category page? Also long Urls! The Casamento (Wedding) category is already set up this way and same question applies. Any help or guidence wold be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Missing Meta Tags - "thousands" using WooCommerce?
Recently took a site live for a client using WP/WooCommerce to replace their antiquated shopping cart site and have encountered thousands of "Missing Meta Description Tag" errors. Have researched and tried a couple different approaches, but nothing really seems to fix this problem. I'm happy to continue to research, but have never encountered this problem before. Anyone else encountered similar? If so, how did you fix? Which resources to start with? 2VKDRVx
