Google Web Master Tools show that my site has been crawled, but search results show old title tags, ect.
-
Does the index report reflect what will be displayed on Google results? Google seems to be indexing my site every Sunday...
-
It's also possible that Google is deciding to not use your titles based on certain keyword searches.
Google will sometimes create its own title if it finds yours to be lacking. If your title tags are short, over-used, poorly written, stuffed with keywords,... they have more chance of being replaced.
It could also just be a timing thing and Google hasn't updated them yet. I would manually fetch a couple pages and check batch in a few days.
Thanks,
Jake

The data in Google Webmaster Tools just gets updated every Sunday in the index reports. That's a bit different from the real indexation of data. It could be that only your site was crawled but that Google decided for now not to change the data in the index for you.

Google Analytics goals only show unique event triggers
I have some goals in GA which is linked to different event triggers. However I've found out that the goal is only showing the unique event triggers and not the total. I need it to show the total in order to be accurate. Is there any way to switch that option? I can't find any options like that in GA or guides to do so.

Tools For Analysing Backlinks
Does anyone know of a good tool that analyses backlinks? I have already tried Link Research Tools and found it very useful but it is very expensive. Does anyone know of an alternative that does the same thing, i.e. will tell you what links are causing harm to your site?

Google Analytics underreporting
I have a site selling items, I use paypal buttons and get a report using ipn back from paypal telling me when I have sold a item. I also have a Google analytics event setup on the button, and one on the confirmation page.
Reporting & Analytics | | AlanMosley
For example in the last few days I have sold over 10 items from the website, but have only 2 events from the button and none from the confirmation page. The confirmation page depends on the user getting redirected back from PayPal so I can see that being upper reported, but there is no way you can buy without clicking the button.
I have the chrome addon from google to debug your analytics code and it fires every time.
The figures seem to report only about 20% of events over a long period of time. If it was not working at all, I could assume I have not set things up correctly but this is not the case, I get a regular flow of events but at about 205 of sales.
I am very disappointed with GA, seems a waste of time. anyone else had the same expirence?0 -
