MOZ Page Grader - Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible?
-
Hi,
I am trying to use the MOZ page grader on this page - https://www.respuestasparaelhombre.com/datos-sobre-disfunción-eréctil-preguntas
but it is saying Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible - any ideas?
Thanks
-
Hey all... I'm in the same boat for
http://www.owneroperatordirect.com
Any ideas? Would love to start using the Page Grader feature.
Thanks.
-
Just tried to use it for wilsonart.com and it would not grade. Please advise.
-
Also having issues with my site wilsonart.co.th. Please check into this.
-
Also having the same issue with my site cu-portland.edu. This is a recent phenomenon. I can't use on-page grader nor will it show basic page rankings because it says my site is inaccessible.
-
I'm having the same issue for www.playshakespeare.com. Crawl works fine, but the On Page Grader always gives the "Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible" error.
-
Hi Janet!
I just sent you an email to go over the concerns about your campaigns. Look for my mail and we can troubleshoot everything further that way!
Thank you!

Hi,
What I do not understand is that I am getting my weekly "New Rankings and On-Page Reports Ready for Mens Health Answers " email which shows page grades - how can that be if I can't manually grade a page?
-
Hi,
Yes I requested a crawl this afternoon and it seem to go fine but it always has, it's just the page grader function that is not working for some reason.
I work for Eli Lilly here in the UK so it's not as easy as picking up the phone and asking your hosting company what the heck is going on... We (our agency) are moving the sites and other sister sites from https://plone.org/ to http://www.crownpeak.com/ so it may have something to do with it being locked down.
If you look at the link history we lost almost all of them around March? I thought had something to do with the 301 redirect which seems to go from http to https
-
Hi Janet!
I just took a look at your campaign for "Mens Health Answers", and the Crawl Diagnostics look to be crawling all of your pages. Can you log into your campaign again and let me know if you're seeing something different than what I'm seeing? If you're still seeing issues, click the blue button on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen on almost any Moz page and let us know.
Thanks!
Kevin

Hi Janet,
In that case, I'm guessing that Tony is correct that this is most likely a firewall issue. I ran a crawl test on www.respuestasparaelhombre.com and it did actually crawl all of your pages as far as I could tell, but I'm also not able to check any of your page grades. If possible, please reach out to the host of your website to see if they can help diagnose this issue.
If you have any other questions or issues, please write into help@moz.com and we'll help you out further.
Thanks!
Kevin

Also a sister UK site www.menshealthanswers.co.uk does not crawl
-
Hi,
But even I try and grade www.respuestasparaelhombre.com it still gives me - Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible.
-
Moz can't crawl his root domain (i tested using page grader) or any other URLs on his site,
So while the special chars might not help, i dont think thats the issue here :). Atleast, not the only one.
-
Hello Janet!
I believe the problem here is actually the special characters in your URL, which our tools will generally have a hard time reading.
In general, foreign language characters in your URL are tricky when it comes to SEO. I would recommend reading the following article that explores this in more depth:
https://www.fusionbox.com/blog/detail/are-foreign-language-characters-in-urls-bad-for-seo/536/I hope this helps. Thank you!

Its possible your SSL is the issue, do you know if its an SNI cert? Moz crawler doesnt yet support SNI and a lot of recently issued certs are SNI ones...
Also, if your using Cloudflare, those certs are SNI as well.
http://serverfault.com/questions/506177/how-can-i-detect-if-a-server-is-using-sni-for-https
-
Thanks
It works for other websites - I've just tested my personal website.
There is a 301 redirect from http to https -
Checked link: http://www.respuestasparaelhombre.com
Type of redirect: 301 Moved Permanently
Redirected to: https://www.respuestasparaelhombre.comWould that be causing problems if it had not been set-up properly?
-
All reference i can find to this error is firewall issues. You will probably need to check with your hosting providers that they arnt blocking moz.

Links and images in custom css are not recognised by Moz Toolbar or Yoast plugin
Hi, I am building a website in Wordpress and when checking the pages through Moz toolbar or Yoast plugin, I notice that these don't recognise the internal links in custom CSS and the images neither. Here some code to clarify how it is built: [vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][ultimate_heading main_heading="Veldrijden" alignment="left" main_heading_margin="margin-bottom:20px;"][/ultimate_heading][vc_single_image image="6497" img_size="full" onclick="custom_link" link="http://k488239.hosting.kinamo.be/activiteiten/veldrijden/"][vc_btn title="Meer info" color="mulled-wine" align="left" link="url:http%3A%2F%2Fk488239.hosting.kinamo.be%2Factiviteiten%2Fveldrijden%2F|||"][/vc_column] The links are embedded in images and in 'More info' buttons. Also the internal links in the main website navigation are not recognised, but the normal a href links are recognised. For the images it is a little different: the alt text from the images gets recognised by Moz, but Yoast says there are no images on the page. The only thing I can think of that there is no 'a href' in the links and for the images that it has something to do with the page builder. Can this effect my SEO results? Thanks.

Moz not updating the spam score metrics
Hi Experts, I have done everything to come over the following metrics flagged as spam on my website by Moz, few months ago. But, Moz has not updated the spam score yet. ✓Low MozTrust or MozRank Score - improved from 2 to 4.5
Moz Bar | | jamesh.rich01
✓Large Site with Few Links - My website have more than 6K backlinks
✓Small Proportion of Branded Links - My website have a good amount of branded backlinks
✓Thin Content - Every webpage on website has more than 500 words content
✓External Links in Navigation - There is no external link in navigation other than social media links
✓No Contact Info - The proper address has alreay been placed on website footer
✓Low Number of Pages Found - I am wondering if there are any standard score or number of links to reach to remove these flag?
Also, please suggest some ways that will help me improve moz spam score at faster rate. Thanks for your help in advance!"0 -
Onpage Grader not Finding Keyword in URL
I've noticed that the Onpage Grader is not including my keyword in the URL when the keyword is in the domain. If I grade an inner page and the keyword is in the sub-directory, it finds it. Is this intentional? If so, why does the grader not include my keyword in the domain as Keyword in the URL?

Why do my search results differ from MOZ's rank tracker
This is starting to happen a lot, i mean they weren't always an exact match but they differed by a few places. But now the gap between results I'm getting and MOZ's own rank tracker is quite large. For my keyword my page ranks on MOZ at 39 (it was 25 but has slipped down). Im seeing my page on page 1 locally and page 2 in incognito mode. Now I understand there are other factors such as browser history, cookies, am i logged into gmail etc. Thats why I asked colleagues to use Internet explorer and they have nothing to do with SEO so their history wont affect the search. They report seeing it on page 2, even colleagues in a different office in a different city sees it on page 2. I want to contact the department in question and share the good news that they've gone from none existent to 14th in what is a very competitive area. But MOZ's result has be second guessing whether I should. Any ideas why the gap between results is so large? Thanks

Location specific MOZ Ranking changes - How to track them
Hi All, I have asked this question before here but haven't got any convincing answers. And now I am starting to see this in couple of my other projects . I'm not sure how many facing similar issue like mine but its bit tricky. Our company is based in Melbourne,Australia and we set MOZ campaign setting to google.com.au . The weekly moz ranking for one of the client keyword showed as Position Rank#29. But when I Checked Manually it is Ranking #3. So why does the moz show as 29 ? **Keyword: **car exhaust Website: www.professionalexhaust.com.au To Replicate, I set the google search to google.com.au and on Search Tools I changed location as **Australia ( by default its set to Melbourne ). **When I did search now my result came in Page 3 - No.29 rank. Note: By default the Google browser picks the location as Melbourne and gives localized result which is not tracked by MOZ. Now how do I track this in Moz to show localized ranking results which my customer see. I cant report this ranking to client, else I have to do a manual report which is time consuming . Note : This is Tested in InCognito mode with all cache cleared.

Why my on-page report card won't improve?
For my page www.homedestination.com/Minneapolis-homes-for-sale.html, Moz ranks the page as an "F" for the keyword "Minneapolis home buyers". All data in the report card is from months ago. using the "Grade my On-Page Optimization" button fails to show any updates - even after months. For example the title is actually "Minneapolis Homes For Sale| buying a Minneapolis home | Homebuyers" while Moz says it is ""Minneapolis Homes For Sale | Home Destination | Jenna Thuening" Moz says the description tag is "Realtor Jenna Theuning helping real estate buyers find Minnetonka homes for sale, owner of Home Destination. CDPE also helps with foreclosure and short sales buying." and "Minneapolis homes for sale, and Minneapolis listing, and Minneapolis upscale real estate, and Minneapolis lakeside properties provided by Home Destination"" when it is actually "Minneapolis homes for sale, and Minneapolis listing, Minneapolis home buyers, and Minneapolis lakeside properties provided by Home Destination." Additionally, my weekly ranking reports seems "stuck" and continues to show many "F" ranked keywords that have been updated for some time. Amy advice on how to see improvements?

Can the Moz tool identify variations of a Chinese language branded keyword?
We've recently started a trial of the Moz Pro service and are tracking a selection of keywords. Our primary band / product name is 功夫英语(Kungfu English), so we've set a rule that any keywords containing those four Chinese characters (功夫英语) should be marked as a branded keyword. However, in the "Non-Paid Keywords Sending Search Visits" section of our traffic report, we see a few variations on our brand name that are not being marked as branded keywords. (See attached Images). Based on our rules, shouldn't these variations also be marked as branded keywords without our needing to manually add them as such? Or have I misunderstood the intent of this rule? For the English text, the brand rule about words containing "kungfuenglish" seems to have resulted in all of "www.kungfuenglish.com", "http://www.kungfuenglish.com", and kungfuenglish being labelled as branded keywords. However, I'm not seeing the same sort of result with variations on the Chinese keyword, 功夫英语. KedTi1D.png z5bcUIt.png
