_ Thank you_

Spot on!
"If you see them giving great advice for free, imagine what you will get when you pay them"
-
Someone ought to write a good post about how to find (and vet) companies via forums.
-
Most of the SEO, programming, marketing, etc. people who I have paid to work on my websites were found by reading answers to questions in forums. In a forum you can read their answers to many questions and use that to gauge their competence, generosity, communication skills, community respect, and style. If you see them giving great advice for free, imagine what you will get when you pay them.
I am not posting this because I am looking for work. I don't do work for clients.
Good luck.

Thanks for the plug, Anthony! I'm the founder of Credo (I feel like I'm on ProductHunt right now!) and always happy to answer questions and point people in the right direction for which agencies to contact!

The Moz recommended list is great, but a bit on the high end side of project scope for many Small to Med sized businesses. Another resource for you to check out is Credo. There are some good agencies and consultants listed there as well as some info on the types of work they specialize in and the rates of the projects they take on.

Here's Moz' own list to help get you started: https://moz.com/rand/recommended-list-seo-consultants/ If you'd like I can also run your site through a check list that I give to clients as a starting point. Just DM if interested. Cheers!

Brightcove SEO Best Practices?
My company has decided to go with Brightcove as a video platform so we can better monetize all of the video content we create and better customize the experience as well. We have a pretty decent YouTube presence, and I won't let them stop using that because it would totally alienate us from part of our audience. So I was hoping someone could help me with the following: Are we able to keep videos hosted on YouTube as well as Brightcove without any risk of duplicate content? If we use the Brightcove player to embed videos in our on-site content, are we hindering potential organic search visibility? On the embeds, it's looking like it's using an iframe in our content (https://www.leafly.com/news/cannabis-101/sativa-indica-and-hybrid-whats-the-difference-between-cannabis-ty) - We're using a Brightcove WP plugin for the embed, but I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a better way to implement/if this is even an issue at all. Are there any other general best practices/insights anyone has working with this platform? I found this article on their site, but I was wondering if there was anything else I should consider. Thank you in advance for any insights/answers!

SEO Menu Question
I have a question regarding to the SEO benefits of different types of menus. Recently, I have noticed an increasing number of websites with the sort of menu like at www.sportsdirect.com, where there is only one main dropdown and then everything is a sub-menu of the sub-menus if that makes sense. Is this approach more, less or equal beneficial to what you see at http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ where there are multiple initial dropdown menus? Appreciate the feedback.

Subdomains + SEO
Hi everyone, So a little background - my company launched a new website (http://www.everyaction.com). The homepage is currently hosted on an amazon s3 bucket while the blog and landing pages are hosted within Hubspot. My question is - is that going to end up hurting our SEO in the long run? I've seen a much slower uptick in search engine traffic than I'm used to seeing when launching new sites and I'm wondering if that's because people are sharing the blog.everyaction.com url on social (which then wouldn't benefit just everyaction.com?) Anyways, a little help on what I should be considering when it comes to subdomains would be very helpful. Thanks, Devon

Whitelabel stores and consequences for SEO
Hello I have a very important question to you. We are planning to a open 2 – 5 “whitelabel” web shops in each country that run on the same platform and server (Demandware) as our current web sites. Each white label site will have own domain. The product selection will be identical and prices will be identical, but the sites will be branded differently with other logo and colors and name for the store. The question is about the consequences for SEO for such project. What are the risks for the rankings for us, if the whitelabel products have same product descriptions and names as our existing web shop has? Will it affect our rankings? How would google rank 3 whitelabel stores that have own domains but otherwise identical product content? What is the minimal that should be changed from SEO point of view in order to avoid Google penalties or ranking problems? Looking forward to hear from you Greetings,
