How to fix directions to a place on Apple Maps, when the location itself is correct.
-
Hello Community,
I do local SEO for our health system. I recently claimed and adjusted the marker on Apple Maps to our Emergency Room. I assumed since there's a road that leads right to it, the directions would change. But the directions send them to the front of the hospital building (instead of the emergency room entrance). Unfortunately, there is no way to get to the ER through the front of our hospital.
So now I'm trying to fix the directions itself.
I've searched through Apple Forums etc. looking for a solution without success. Any ideas on how I might fix the directions?
Here is the exact location in case that helps.

Hey Patrick!
Your link is taking me to a login screen for Apple Maps. Could you try to surface that link again for us? Thanks!

Adding Schema to multi-location Wordpress Website using Schema Pro
All, we're building a new version of our existing website using Wordpress and have both Yoast SEO Premium and Schema Pro installed. Our site has 70, a medical practice, has 70 different locations. Each one of our locations has a page tile like the following: "Los Angeles | ABC Dental". The first part of the site title is the town we're located in followed by our site name. Using Schema Pro, we're not sure about what to place into the "Name" field. You can see the direction from Schema Pro for local businesses here, https://wpschema.com/docs/add-schema-markup-for-a-local-business-page/ By default Schema Pro has the name field set to Site Title. However, using this on all 70 or our landing pages wouldn't provide the local aspect we want. It would just say ABC Dental. We changed this to use a new custom field where we could enter a more descriptive name. Using our page title example of "Los Angeles | ABC Dental", would we simply enter this into the name field of Schema Pro? If not, would we format this another way such as "ABC Dental Los Angeles" We could use some help in a strategy for Schema markup for multi-location businesses, in particular, the name field. All other information such as address, phone number, etc seems rather straight forward. Thank you for the assistance

Business Name Not Showing Up in Google's Maps
I have a client whose name in not currently showing up on Google maps. Their business location only shows once their name or related keywords are searched, but their business name does not show when you only look for it on the map regardless of how far zoomed in you are to the actual location. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or knows of a way to fix this. I have already contacted Google multiple times, and they told me that “business’ names are just randomly pulled”. The client is an HVAC store front business with good rankings and a fully optimized Google profile, so these reasons did not answer the issue. Google maps listings
Hi all, I just wondered what determines the company listings that are displayed in maps. From what I can see any businesses highlighted in these lists have optimised Google Places pages and it doesn't seem to be based on general ranking as these lists seem different to the general SERPS. Any thoughts at all appreciated. Pls see attached image. Also, is there anything other than optimise your Places listing that might help ensure you are seen in these results? IUK871m.jpg

SEO best practices for store locator and local pages - 301 or not?
I have been struggling to answer this on my own and now throwing up for the Moz community for a life line. Our company has several location across 6 states. We have local pages that we are working to improve with better content. We also have a store locator that will list the stores but the pages are not the same. See below example. I can't help but feel like I am splitting juice and traffic that should be combined to one page for each location. Any ideas or advice on how we can best combine/funnel the traffic to one optimized page? Here is an example: State local page - http://www.jakesfireworks.com/michigan/ Locator page for state - http://www.jakesfireworks.com/locator/?state=MI City local page - http://www.jakesfireworks.com/michigan/grand_rapids City Locator page - http://www.jakesfireworks.com/locator/?id=183&state=MI

Second location
Hello Moz Community, I have a client that is about to open up a second location. The website is optimized for his current location, should I convert his current site (Wordpress) into a Multi-Site Wordpress and convert the homepage to a directory for both locations with each location essentially having it's own website? If I go this route, I believe I'm going to drop in rankings on his current site since his location homepage url will change (example.com will change to ---> example.com/location-one) also there will have to be a lot of work as far as going through all citations and changing the url's on them. The other way I was thinking is just leaving the site as is and still converting the wordpress site to multisite, but not creating a directory page and just creating a new site for his new location. What do you feel is the best approach or if you guys have a better idea I would love to hear it.

Our existing locations business pages were set up by a previous SEO agency and now we are handling this in-house. I've tried to search step by step guides but was unable to find any solutions.
