    Hello Moz Community,

I've been running a blog ( www[dot]arrify[dot]com ) for a while, focused on Salesforce. I'm looking to enhance my lead-generation efforts through my blog content. I would appreciate insights and strategies on the following:

    • SEO Best Practices: How can I optimize my blog posts for better search engine visibility to attract more potential leads?

    • Content Engagement: What types of content (e.g., infographics, videos, in-depth guides) have been most effective for engaging readers and encouraging them to provide their contact information?

    • CTA Placement: Where is the most effective placement for calls-to-action within a blog post to maximize lead capture without detracting from user experience?

    • Lead Capture Forms: Are there any recommended practices for designing lead capture forms that encourage sign-ups?

Any specific examples or case studies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

          Hello!

SEO Best Practices: To optimize your blog posts, focus on relevant keywords in titles, headers, and throughout the content. Use meta descriptions, alt text for images, and ensure mobile optimization. Regularly update content to stay current with SEO trends.

Content Engagement: Experiment with a mix of content types. In-depth guides and how-to articles are effective for Salesforce audiences. Consider adding visuals like infographics and engaging videos to make your content more interactive.

CTA Placement: Place CTAs strategically within your blog posts, ideally near the beginning, middle, and end. Utilize a mix of inline text CTAs and visually appealing buttons. Test different positions to find what works best for your audience.

Lead Capture Forms: Keep lead capture forms concise, asking for essential information. Offer something valuable in return, such as a downloadable resource or exclusive content. Ensure the form is easy to locate and complements the overall design of your blog.

For more personalized insights, consider analyzing data from tools like Google Analytics to understand user behavior on your blog.

Best of luck with your lead-generation efforts!

            Hello,

To optimize your blog for better search engine visibility, focus on incorporating relevant keywords naturally into your content, optimizing meta tags, and ensuring a mobile-friendly design.

For content engagement, consider a mix of formats, including informative articles, visually appealing infographics, and engaging videos. In-depth guides addressing specific pain points can also be effective.

Place calls-to-action strategically throughout your blog posts, including at the beginning, within the content, and at the end. Experiment to find what works best for your audience.

When designing lead capture forms, keep them concise, asking for essential information. Consider offering incentives like exclusive content or discounts to encourage sign-ups.

Explore industry case studies or successful blogs for inspiration on effective strategies. Good luck with your lead-generation efforts!

Mobile Optimization: Ensure your blog is mobile-friendly for a better user experience, as mobile-friendliness is a ranking factor.
              Content Engagement:

Varied Content Types: Experiment with different content formats like infographics, videos, and in-depth guides to cater to different learning preferences.
Interactive Content: Consider quizzes, surveys, or interactive elements to boost engagement and encourage user interaction.
Visual Appeal: Use compelling visuals, such as high-quality images and graphics, to make your content visually appealing.
Storytelling: Share real-world examples or case studies related to Salesforce to make your content more relatable and engaging.
              CTA Placement:

Above the Fold: Place a clear and compelling call-to-action near the top of your blog post to capture the attention of visitors early on.
Within Content: Insert relevant CTAs within your content where they naturally fit, providing value to the reader.
End of Post: Conclude your blog post with a strong CTA encouraging readers to take the next step, such as subscribing to your newsletter or accessing a resource.
              Lead Capture Forms:

Keep it Simple: Request only essential information in your lead capture forms to minimize friction and increase sign-up rates.
Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the value users will receive by signing up, whether it's exclusive content, updates, or resources.
A/B Testing: Experiment with different form designs, lengths, and messaging to identify what resonates best with your audience.
Opt-In Confirmation: Implement a double opt-in process to ensure the quality of your leads and build a more engaged audience.

                @Kritikgarg SEO Best Practices:

Ensure your blog posts have relevant keywords related to Salesforce.
Optimize meta titles and descriptions for each post.
Use descriptive and keyword-rich alt text for images.
Create a clean URL structure for easy indexing.
Focus on quality backlinks from reputable sources in the Salesforce community.
                Content Engagement:

Mix up content types for variety.
Interactive content like quizzes or polls can boost engagement.
Video tutorials or webinars about Salesforce features can be highly effective.
In-depth guides addressing common pain points in the Salesforce community can be valuable.
                CTA Placement:

Strategically place CTAs at the beginning and end of your posts.
Include a CTA within the content, especially after providing valuable information.
Experiment with a popup CTA but ensure it doesn't disrupt the user experience.
                Lead Capture Forms:

Keep forms concise, asking for essential information.
Clearly communicate the value of signing up.
A/B test form placements and designs.
Consider offering a lead magnet, like an exclusive Salesforce resource, to incentivize sign-ups.
                Example:
You might create a blog post titled "Mastering Salesforce Reporting: A Comprehensive Guide." Throughout the guide, strategically place CTAs encouraging readers to download a free, in-depth Salesforce Reporting Checklist by providing their email. The checklist serves as both a valuable resource and a lead magnet.

Remember to analyze data regularly, A/B test different strategies, and adapt based on what resonates most with your audience. Good luck with your lead-generation efforts!

Is it worth buying an entry on Wikipedia-type sites?

                      link building content marketing wikipedia

Recently I've come across a few websites offering (for a fee) to research, write and publish an entry on the likes of Wikipedia, Citizendium or Wikitia - I thought this might be helpful when it comes to marketing and link building for a brand or individual. Purchasing guest blog posts is a standard way to obtain a high domain authority in-context backlink, but I wondered if purchasing an entry on one of these human edited encyclopedias would be as effective, better or not worth the money? It costs quite a bit more than guest posting and blog outreach, but on the other hand they are authoritative websites that also include backlinks. Any thoughts would be most welcome.

Blog post generating irrelevant traffic. What should I do with it?

I have a blog post that has been generating more than 75% of my website's traffic month over month.-averaging about 1000 views a month. Awesome that so many people are finding and benefiting from this post, however it is really skewing my traffic. I have an 87% bounce rate, and I'm only ranking in terms related to this post as opposed to industry related terms. I'm not sure what to do with this blog post. I want to be able to better evaluate my website's performance and be sure I'm targeting the right audience in order to gain more leads. Would a 'noindex' or 'nofollow' be appropriate here? Thanks!

Does google penalize you if you post content in french and english on a website

I'm trying to encourage content editors to only  post content in either English or French. For example we have a French press release but the team are wanting it on our site in French and English.  I thought this would fall under duplicate content rules. Does google penalize you if you post content in French and English on a website?

Recommendations on the URL Structure When Posting Blogs

Sites are adopting different URL structures for posting blogs (examples below). Quicksprout ( www.domain.com/dateposted/blogposttitle) Moz (www.domain.com/blog/blogposttitle) SEO Book (www.domain.com/blogposttitle) What do you recommend?

Can We Publish Duplicate Content on Multi Regional Website / Blogs?

Today, I was reading Google's official article on Multi Regional website and use of duplicate content. Right now, We are working on 4 different blogs for following regions. And, We're writing unique content for each blog. But, I am thinking to use one content / subject for all 4 region blogs. USA: http://www.bannerbuzz.com/blog/ UK: http://www.bannerbuzz.co.uk/blog/ AUS: http://www.bannerbuzz.com.au/blog/ CA: http://www.bannerbuzz.ca/blog/ Let me give you very clear ideas on it. Recently, We have published one article on USA website. http://www.bannerbuzz.com/blog/choosing-the-right-banner-for-your-advertisement/ And, We want to publish this article / blog on UK, AUS & CA blog without making any changes. I have read following paragraph on Google's official guidelines and It's inspire me to make it happen. Which is best solution for it? Websites that provide content for different regions and in different languages sometimes create content that is the same or similar but available on different URLs. This is generally not a problem as long as the content is for different users in different countries. While we strongly recommend that you provide unique content for each different group of users, we understand that this may not always be possible. There is generally no need to "hide" the duplicates by disallowing crawling in a robots.txt file or by using a "noindex" robots meta tag. However, if you're providing the same content to the same users on different URLs (for instance, if both example.de/ and example.com/de/ show German language content for users in Germany), you should pick a preferred version and redirect (or use the rel=canonical link element) appropriately. In addition, you should follow the guidelines on rel-alternate-hreflang to make sure that the correct language or regional URL is served to searchers.

Host this sub-domiane to BlueHost for example and keep my domaine to BigCommerce.
