Anyone have a great example of a confirmation page with a social element?

We're thinking of adding social elements to our confirmation page, which as of right now doesn't ask for any specific action. Might as well take advantage. i.e. "Tweet this" or "Share this" with a shortened link to the landing page.

Does anyone have any great examples of Twitter/Facebook being incorporated into a confirmation page? Visually pleasing, striking, great copy?

It can be a confirmation for any type of action, whether you've just bought something, subscribed to something, joined a site, anything really.

Does Google give more ranking weight for Shares for One Social Network over Another.

We are using BuzzSumo to explore the types of content that generate the highest number of shares per article. Does anyone have data to suggest that a share on Google+ carries more ranking weight than a share on Twitter or Facebook, or LinkedIn? We have seen a recent case with one of our client's competitors where they significantly grew their Google+ shares within a relatively short period of time and gained a higher rank for a key search phrase that my client is also targeting. Main Site Social Media SEO impact on different product specific site

Hi, Few months ago I have created a minisite for a particular product category for the online store Giftcampaign.es with a different domain name. The idea was to focus this minisite on selling personalized usb memories and to have a different design, functionality and content that the main one (the site is http://www.usbpersonalizado.es). What I have done here is to link on my site the Social Markers of Facebook and LinkedIn of the parent site GiftCampaign.es, as we are not planning to open and maintain an account for those social networks, and we are already maintaining the ones for the parent site. I would like to know if the SEO Positioning of my minisite can benefit from the links of the Social Networks of the parent site or whether it makes not really an impact in SEO positioning unless I create and maintain new social network accounts for the different minisites that I create with different domain names. Recommendations for a collaborative workflow for an integrated content marketing / social media campaign?

We are currently using an excel spreadsheet that is a homemade checklist of all of the various places we want to post. We take one topic, and we make various formats (video, promotional image, blog article, press release) and we list all of the posts we want to make in all of the channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, FB, instagram, pinterest, etc.). Is there any articles that describe a more streamlined way to do this? We have tried basecamp but looking for other options. We have a small team of about 5 people that collaborate to design, write, and post the content. I was looking for an article that describes the workflow that might simplify the communication and execution of this process. Thanks!

How is your social media profile?

Hi At the moment im trying to make a social media strategy for the company i work in, whcis is a big insurance company. Of course i want to add value on the different social media, but i also want to take into account which value the social media can add to my SEO. Facebook
We have a profile on Facebook, with around 5.000 likes, and as far as im concerned the important thing on Facebook is to get people to share your links? Google+ At the moment we dont have a Google+ account, but my suggestion would be that we create one . maybe not to generate alot of content, but in order to get more info on the branded search results - and i have a presumption that Google will put more and more emphasis on Google+ in the updates that lies ahead. Twitter We have a profile, but are there anything we could do in order to optimize the SEO-effect via Twitter - what i have heard is that because their links are no-follow it dosent have any effect on SEO. Instagram
Is there anything to gain on SEO if you create a profile on Instagram? Please let me hear your views on this. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone else noticed a dramatic drop in Facebook post impressions?

One of the clients I manage has over 5,000 Facebook fans. Whenever I'd make a post, it usually would get ~700-1,000 impressions. About two weeks ago I did my first promoted post. Ever since then, all the regular posts I've done have only gotten ~100 impressions . . . out of 5,325! I'm wondering if Facebook, once learning that you are willing to pay for promoted posts, secretly lowers your impression count so that you will pay for promoted posts more often, or if the timing of my promoted post was just a coincidence, and everyone started to see a decrease about two weeks ago. Does anyone know what's going on?

How are Google Plus pages related to Google Plus Local pages?

How are Google Plus pages related to Google Plus Local pages and what is the best way to join/link them? e.g. if I go to Starbucks Google Plus page https://plus.google.com/117575809843355974839/posts, where can I see their store locations or google Places pages? If I go to a Google Places page from Google Maps - which now takes you to a Google Plus 'Places' page - how is that Google Plus Places page related to that companies main Google Plus page - I can't see a way to go between them. Removing Facebook Pages Without Admin Access

A few years ago someone started a Facebook page for my company. It has about 15 fans and is not active, however it is ranking in Google because of it's age. I want to delete the page (so that the real official Facebook page will rank instead). However, I do not have access to the original admin account and Facebook is not responding to my removal requests. Any suggestions for what I should do? Thanks!
