How do you get links from a photo pointing to a third party site in Google Places?

How do you get links from a photo pointing to a third party site. I’ve seen a number on other Places accounts but I can't figure out how to do it. They had a picture/logo and the url underneath it (instead of it saying 'from the owner' underneath it), when you clicked the photo it took you to the website instead of just a page with only that photo on it.
Please see image as an example. I've highlighted the image links below.
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Rahul & Robert,
If I've understood your questions correctly, you want to know how one becomes a third party image provider in Google Places so that linked images are showing up on Place Pages from your body of data. I want you to both know that I have researched this and have also spoken with Mike Blumenthal (imo the top Local SEO in the country) to be confident that my facts are correct.
As I mentioned before, it is up to Google to decide with whom it partners for this service. There is a form somewhere for submitting a request to become a Google partner, but for the life of me, I couldn't find it and Mike wasn't sure where it was either. It may be somewhere within this set of pages:
http://maps.google.com/help/maps/mapcontent/
I spent about 10 minutes hunting for it to no avail, so it seems it's not very obvious, but maybe with some more searching, you can turn up the form.
What you can typically expect is that Google is only going to partner with very huge companies able to provide a huge set of data. If you are small, it won't hurt to contact Google (if you can find that dratted form) but I would not expect to become a partner.
Other than being a partner, there appears to be a more random sourcing of data from various sites using rich snippets, so that is something you both might want to investigate further. I sincerely hope this answer helps.

Hi Robert and Miriam,
Thank you both for your help.

Assume I am a boutique hotel in Clearwater, FL. I want to pay an affiliate (publisher) to drive traffic to my site. I hire a small affiliate ClearwaterHotelPages.com to assist me. They list reviews on hotels.
Can they place pictures of my hotel on my places page and will Google include their url? It would seem that if Google allows Hotels.com or Yelp, or etc. they are almost compelled to allow a smaller affiliate as well.

Hi Robert!
I want to make sure I understand your question. Can you define what you mean by an 'affiliate'? Obviously, Google allows UGC from anybody on Place Pages (any user), but I'm not quite sure this is what you mean. Thanks!

Hello Miriam,
Are you sure there is no way for an affiliate to upload to Places, state who they are, and then have the url?
I am not 100% and that is why I am asking.Best

Hi Rahul,
Google has certain sites from which it draws third party photos (such as Panaramio, Yahoo, etc.). In order to get links like that, you would have to be considered one of Google's trusted third party image sources. Does this answer your question?

Rahul, I believe those have to be posted by a third party. Places then puts the link to them. I went into several accounts just to be sure and could not find a way to append a url. These are from affiliates on this site. I know from posting photos on a ton of Places accounts that the photo always has from the owner when you are logged in.

Https lock broken possibly due to absolute http header footer image links.
To make the https lock secure, can I make my website header and footer image URLs to relative? I have read that we need to have absolute URLs for images for good SEO. In our old ecommerce platform we made http image urls for http pages and https image urls for https pages. For our new platform this is not a standard feature and we will have to pay for customizations which we don't have any more budget for that. So will making image URLs relative create any other problems?

Do we need an exact marker on Google Maps?
My business covers a service area, but we would still like to have a precise listing on Google Maps for SEO purposes. Is it possible to edit maps to set up a specific address listing, or is that something we can only do when establishing the Google+ listing? I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that when you set up a service area in your plus/places account, Google limits how much of your address is shown in maps. Feedback appreciated!

Taking control over Google Places and Google+ Pages?
Hi we have a client who has about 40 different stores around the country. Most of the stores have their own Google+ Pages or Google Places. We want to take control of all 40 stores from a centralized location. So we can control their Google+ Pages/Google Places to improve them, and keep them uniformed with each other.How/Can can we do this? Does Google provide any way to do this? Thanks, Mark

Google places - We currently do not support the location
Hi My Google places listing has vanished from the local search results, and when clicking on the 'see your listing on Google' link from the Google Places dashboard I am getting the message We currently do not support the location What is causing this is it due to another listing with the same address? I have now deleted this extra listing which is now showing as suspended until I enter the pin which will remove it. But what other steps do I need to take to get the listing back on google places search results?

Google Places - second listing, same name
We will open a new office at a new location and I would like to add it to our Google places. How do I do this? Per Google guidelines: "Do not create more than one listing for each business location, either in a single account or multiple accounts." - Website & Phone: Provide a phone number that connects to your individual business location as directly as possible, and provide one website that represents your individual business location_._ Do I have to another contact page on my website for that location too? I will end up having to business listing with the same name but different locations. I want people to know that we have 2 separate offices because they serve different clients. I want to show up in Google places for the second location as well. Any thoughts?

Google Place pages and regular listings in search results
I'm trying to clarify something about search results which contain local listings. Here is the search string for Google that will give you the same results that I am seeing - http://www.google.co.uk/search?&q=letting agents glasgow&pws=0 Of the results that are returned, some of them have data which seems to be related to their Google Place page but the "title" links directly to their website. What I wanted to know is, "Is it their actual website that has given them those rankings" or "Are they listed where they are because of a well optimized and ranked Places page?
