Report site for duplicate content
-
Hi All,
I know that when a site is using duplicate content (my content) I can report it to Google and have them removed from the index, contact the hosting provider, etc
But I was wondering if there is anything I can do to have Google shutdown their PPC campaign?
Thanks!
-
@Vladimir Thanks, I will get in touch will Google ASAP
@lara I know that contacting the hosting provider is the ultimate solution, but chances are that they won't do anything and if they do It would take months ... that been said, I will give it a try. Thanks!

If you contact the hosting provider, and they shut down the site, their ppc ad's won't refer visitors to any site. Google won't allow ppc ads to continue refering visitors to a site that won't load.

I think this site violate Google Advertising Policies - http://bquot.com/997 , so you can send a message to Google support here https://support.google.com/adwords/bin/request.py?hl=en&display=categories
Hope it helps.

"Duplicate without user-selected canonical” - impact to Google Ads costs
Hello, we are facing some issues on our project and we would like to get some advice. Scenario
Paid Search Marketing | | Alex_Pisa
We run several websites (www.brandName.com, www.brandName.be, www.brandName.ch, etc..) all in French language . All sites have nearly the same content & structure, only minor text (some headings and phone numbers due to different countries are different). There are many good quality pages, but again they are the same over all domains. Current solution
Currently we don’t use canonicals, instead we use rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default": <link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-BE" href="https://www.brandName.be/" /> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-CA" href="https://www.brandName.ca/" /> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-CH" href="https://www.brandName.ch/" /> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-FR" href="https://www.brandName.fr/" /> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-LU" href="https://www.brandName.lu/" /> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default" href="https://www.brandName.com/" /> Naturally this si reflected in ""Duplicate without user-selected canonical” . Issue
We create the same ad in Google Ads for 2 domains. So the content is mostly identical, ads are identical, target URLs differ only in domain. Yet Google Ads “Quality score” is different (10/10 vs. 6/10) and “Landing page experience” is very different (Above average vs. Average). Some members of our team think lower “Landing page experience” increases the Google Ads costs, which I personally don't believe, but I want to double check. Question: Can “Duplicate without user-selected canonical” issue decrease the “Landing page experience” rating and as result can it cause higher Google ads costs? Any suggestions/ideas appreciated, thanks. Regards.0 -
Should I subscribe my site to bellnet.de?
I am unsure whether I should put a link on bellnet.de. As the web directory is rather a common one and not specialized on web design (as my site is)... On the other hand it has a higher PA and DA then my site. And its spam score is very low. What do you think. Will google reward it and is it worth lazing 50 bucks? Cheers Marc

SEMRush Ads Traffic Price VS their PDF report
I am running a report on a website trying to find their advertising budget online (or at least what I can find and have access to). When I type in the URL and look at the overview section it has the "Ads Traffic Price" at around $2,000/mo. But when I do a full PDF report it has the price at over $11,000/mo for Google USA. What am I missing? Doing wrong? Which is accurate? I'm pretty sure they spend quite a bit more than $11,000/mo in general as they were recently bought by Google and are owned by people from Apple. How do I get the mots accurate estimation in general? Or at least on SEMRush?

Enhanced Sitelinks for Large Ecommerce Sites
We're about to set up enhanced sitelinks for our main site but I'm not sure about the best way to do this given the duplicate URL rule. Ex. we have a campaign for X category of products. X category has 13 subcategories and each subcategory has 4 ad groups. So in total, campaign X category has 52 ad groups in it. We planned to do a sitelink for every ad group, so 52 for this X category of products. But the duplicate URL rule makes this difficult considering how many will be in a single campaign. Making them links to related subcategories isn't possible as we'd run into duplicates really fast. Same with About Us, Contact Us, etc. What's the best way of approaching this?

Optimising 2 ecommerce sites
Hi there I have been optimising an e-commerce site snowsupermarket.co.uk and it's range of products available to B2C customers. I have now been asked to do the same for the B2B site shop.snowbusiness.com which sells the same products but also, many more. My question is, Should i use completely different meta information or choose keywords that are my second choice? Both sites are also on the same IP - would this be a problem with potential duplicate content? Many thanks in advance, Ben

SIte wide links by google display / adsense
hey guys, I had a quick question about my back links that might be coming from adsense. I am trying to help my father our on his site and help him recover from penguin. unfortunately his company hired some shady SEOers to do "SEO". little did my dad know the BLs he were getting might be spammy, thats what I am checking now. When I ran a BL report on him ( i use two tools, SEO spyglass and OSE ) i found that there were many "sitewide" links, but i dont think there were placed there by the webmaster, i think they come from adsense. I know he has a PPC campaign where the daily spend is 3k/ day so I know its very possible that this might be the case. If my tool is picking up BLs from these sites ( which are niche related ) does google count these links for ranking purposes? and might this hurt my rankings if google just sees these as "sitewide links"

Adwords search term report processing help
So I've downloaded my 6000 row adwords search term report, and want to analyses brand keywords and variants only....I could do this by brute force, but I'll want to do it again in a month or two. I have a nice regex string which will do the job but can't find a way to implement a solution. Is there a good way to do this? Or is there a better way? Adwords won't let me filter using regex, Excel needs vb setup to use regex and I've tried the regex in Libre Calc (doesn't return the correct results).

Your site is in organic results for adwords keyword - improved quality score?
Let's say I am targeting a keyword "Blue Widgets Cityname" with an AdWords campaign. My SEO landing page is coming up in position #6 in the organic results for this keyword. Because I have my website in the organic search results, does my quality score automatically improve? Conversely, my quality score could go up because the organic search results facilitate a higher CTR for both the ads and the organic results. However, I am wondering if there is a quality score algorithmic component that automatically makes my quality score go up simply because the same domain I am targeting is in the organic results.
