SEMRush Ads Traffic Price VS their PDF report
-
I am running a report on a website trying to find their advertising budget online (or at least what I can find and have access to).
When I type in the URL and look at the overview section it has the "Ads Traffic Price" at around $2,000/mo.
But when I do a full PDF report it has the price at over $11,000/mo for Google USA.
What am I missing? Doing wrong? Which is accurate?
I'm pretty sure they spend quite a bit more than $11,000/mo in general as they were recently bought by Google and are owned by people from Apple. How do I get the mots accurate estimation in general? Or at least on SEMRush?

No problem. Keep checking on SEMRush in a few days to see if those numbers are changing.
But for now, you can report to your customer that Nest wasn't doing any noticeable advertising before the acquisition. They are now, apparently, but those stats from SEMRush are just estimates based on open metrics, no one outside Google or Nest can actually give you an exact sum.

Thanks Federico.
I did notice the huge increase in ads recently. Thanks for clearing that up for me and giving me some back-up in general on what I was having a problem with.
Client wants me to give an estimated marketing budget for Nest... Really difficult to do without a 10K report or something. Or at least it's beyond my pay grade and abilities at this time.
Thanks again.

Well, I checked SEMRush and they in fact report $2K on ads, but it seems that they have no data of the past. So they are just catching up with the data or Nest just started with their online ads. In any case, as the stats are just pouring in, I would leave a few more weeks before "trusting" on what SEMRush reports. I'm also sure (like you) that after that acquisition they are spending much more than 11K a month in ads.
Hold on for a week or two and see if there any changes.

That would be a big yes sir.

I guess you are talking about Nest?

Running Google Ad Grants? How Much Is Your Monthly Spend?
Hi all - here's a question for everyone running Google Ads through the Ad Grant. How much of the $10,000 available to your account per month do you actually end up spending? I'm trying to see if I am in line with others in the industry. Would you mind sharing with me the type of nonprofit and the amount you're able to spend of the grant per month, on average? Thank you!

Adwords Express Vs Adwords for small business
Hi there I specialise in helping Local businesses with their online visibility through SEO. More recently I have been thinking about delving into Google AdWords so i can offer an additional service to my small business owner but was wondering what the best approach would be.

Should I use Google AdWords express or just Google AdWords? Should I set up individual accounts for each of my clients so they are somehow "portable" or should they all sit under the same master account? As you can see my knowledge is somehow limited and any help would be welcome. If you can point me in some easy to follow tutorial directly aimed at PPC for small businesses that would be awesome. Many thanks0 -

KeyWord Spy Expert Needed: Will Pay $100 For A Report
I need someone with a KeyWord Spy subscription and experience (or a similar tool that has Canadian data) to do a one time CPC report that answers these questions: (1) Who are my client's main competitors in paid search? (2) What is the estimated ad spend by the the five top competitors? (3) What keywords and ads are working best for the competitors? (4)) What is the CPC for the top 20 keywords in the niche. (5)) Any topline suggestions for my client re: next steps. That's it! I don't want to be overwhelmed with masses of extraneous detail. This should be an easy assignment for someone with required expertise. Possibility of more work to implement and/or optimize CPC campaign. Reply via PM with experience. Ideally, send a sample past report (okay to black out client names)

Bing Ads Quality Score
Hi Mozzers, We've just imported (around two weeks ago) our Adwords into Bing and are just evaluating it. Pretty much across the board, but especially our best performing Ad Groups are showing up with abysmal quality scores. Case in point: our best ad group has mostly 10s, two 9s and one 7 in Adwords, yet nothing over 3 in Bing. Specifically landing page relevance is rated poor, keyword relevance and landing page experience as "no problem". So, what specifically is Bing looking for on landing page relevance that's dramatically different to Adwords? The Bing help references a blog post of 2 years ago suggesting increasing keyword count - yet the pages do well in organic search and adding more keywords to the copy will start to look artificial and stuffed, so I'm very reluctant to start there! Any pointers?

Trademarked words in in Google Adwords ads - Why do competitors get to use them?
Hi, The keyword I want to use in my ad is trademarked, so they disqualified my ad. The trademark was specifically cited as the reasoning. I tried this across maybe 5 different ads. All disqualified The thing I don't understand is that there are like 10 other advertisers who are actively using this "trademarked" word in their ads. It's not like 1 scooted past Google, there's a ton of advertisers doing it. So how do I get past them or were they grandfathered in or something? FYI... I tried dynamic insert to see if that could my "trademarked" word in the back door, but no luck. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Adding nyc to a keyword in Google Adwords
Hello. If I have a keyword in Google Adwords that is using phrase match ("keyword"), could it be useful to add the keyword phrase "keyword nyc"? Even if I did not add the second keyword phrase, my ad would be triggered if someone searched for "keyword nyc." So would it be redundant to add the second keyword phrase? Thank you!
