With the structure of WordPress when multiple tags are selected, SEOMoz reports show each URL/tag as duplicated content? What to do?

etc.
Same page, but WP generates multiple URLs for each tag. in reports, this shows as duplicate content. Is it something to worry about? If yes, what is the best fix?

It's best practice to disallow tags from indexation. Check out this blog post (it is based on using Yoast for WP, however the rules still apply)

Yeah, CMS like wordpress likes to create pages for the same page.
Fix: Add the rel="canonical" tag into the section of the main page you created. This will tell Google that this page if the original and the rest are copies. That will fix your duplicate content issue.

How do you find your ideas for content
Morning Mozzers, We have finally come to the point where we can start to focus on making good original content. We were wondering how you guys come up with ideas for your content. We are currently doing lots of keyword research to gather ideas and subject areas. But we are struggling with 'angles of attack'. Being an eCommerce site it is easy to do lots of "The 5 best products for this" type of content. But we feel there is limited value in these especially if we want to gain links to our articles in future as valued content. Duplicate Legal Content
Oftentimes lawyer websites will publish laws (codes, statutes, regulations, case law, etc). They add no value to the text, it's just copy pasted. Therefore, the same text/content may be on potentially hundreds of websites. Does google interpret this as duplicate content, or does it recognize government content as special? I want to have the laws on my website as well, however I am debating whether to add no follow tags or not. Or I'm thinking about adding value to the content by breaking down the specific law. However, even then at least 50% of the content on the page will still be the law, and I'm not sure if that is enough to be considered duplicate content.

Can I share share my content with other sites either as a individual post or RSS or will I be encourage duplicate content on the web and upset Google
Hi, I have a new site http://www.homeforbusiness.co.uk. I want to encourage traffic to the site by sharing some of my content with other related websites which have a higher PR ranking and traffic for a link to my site. Is this going to upset Google re-duplicate content and devalue my site and stop any organic rankings in the future? Equally some high PR sites which have a good synergy with mine such as http://thewomensbusinessclubs.com/ allow me to add my RSS feed with their blog network. Mobile Sites / Useragent detection
I've got a question about how search engines declare that they're mobile browsers... Our website is based on wordpress, and uses the caching plugin W3TC to send a different site template to mobile useragents - i believe from the HTTP useragent string; (the same content is served on every page whether it's a desktop or mobile - just different themes). After having this mobile site online for a few months, we're a little confused as to why google still shows the instant preview of the desktop version for mobile users, and it doesn't show the little mobile phone icon in our SERPs for mobile devices (it's as if it doesn't realise the mobile site exists). I was reading today that the "old" method of serving different content based on the browser is to use the HTTP useragent string; and there's a "new" object checking method which is more robust (although I can't find a lot of information about it). Can anyone explain the "new" method? Would this be the reason that google is so far ignorant of our mobile site?

My Wordpress traffic has gone through the roof, huge referrals from wordpress.com - why?
My Wordpress traffic has hit an all time high over the last few days - in the last 48 hours I've had as many views as the last two months combined. This huge spike in traffic has coincided with a great piece of exclusive content that went up, but I wouldn't expect the traffic to be nearly as high as this. The strange thing is that all the extra traffic seems to be referred from Wordpress.com, however, I cannot drill down to a more specific URL. Also, the referrals do not seem to translate into page views of the homepage, nor a particular article. Can anyone offer any insight into this situation? Thanks
