Schema.org

Has anyone successfully added the schema.org code to an ecommerce site?
Was it of any benefit to seo?

Thanks Lucek great answer, i went ahead and did it, it was pretty painless and i used the GWT to verify it was being read. Its reading the review counts, high and low values but doesnt display them as star ratings - maybe thats only for PPC. But the rest all works which is great.
I was surprised that an ecomm category page wont return any snippets as it contains multiple product tags (according to GWT), but this now puts my worries to one side about too many key word repetitions on the category pages as ive told google exactly why that is.
Here's to a succesful launch!

I managed to add this to one of my sites. I can't tell for sure that it did anything good to my rankings (I did too many changes at the time) but I can guarantee You that someday it will. Here's why:
- You show search engines that You put effort into creating Your site,
- structured data is yummy,
- someone, somewhere, someday (most probably already) will scan web for structured data and will use it in some way, potentially linking back to You.
Notice: I used GWT to verify validity of code on product pages, however GWT told me that it didn't found any rich data on the page. As I later found out it didn't mean that my code was invalid, but that GWT decided that the page isn't interesting enough to scan for structured data.

Schema Markup for eCommerce Category Pages?
My research indicates that applying an ItemList schema markup to our category pages is likely the best way to go. However, I've also ready that Google discourages schema markup on category pages. I'm just wondering if any of you have applied schema markup to your category pages and, if so, how did you do it? John,

Schema LocalBusiness for multiple store locations
Hello, I want to add LocalBusiness mark up to our store pages. I recently read this article https://moz.com/blog/structured-data-for-seo-2 One piece of advice I wanted to confirm is this section: It might seem counter-intuitive, but organization and LocalBusiness markup should only be used on the pages which are actually about your business (e.g. homepage, about page, and/or contact page). I am working on an e-commerce site that has multiple stores and a store page for each. Currently there is Organization Mark Up (with the head office contact information) on every single page. Am I right in saying that we should remove the Organization Mark Up from every page except the homepage, then add LocalBusiness mark up to each store page with the relevant contact information for each store? Many thanks in advance.

Schema for Rebate
Let's say I have a list of rebates available in either a fixed or percentage based format. I'm looking for the most appropriate schema.org code to use for this, currently using aggregateOffer for the list and referencing the name of each rebate, but search console advises that "lowprice" isn't specified, and I only seem to be able to specify a fixed price in the local currency here. I don't think using "lowprice" is appropriate here because this isn't a list of products with the lowest price, but it's a list of rebates to choose from. Is there anything that is more appropriate to use in this case than aggregateOffer?

Opening Hours Schema.org
My client has their opening hours displayed on the right hand side of their website. Can anyone help provide an example of how I can wrap opening hours schema around this? Please bear in mind the opening hours is the only thing I want to be visible on the page. Thanks

Schema and Rich Snippets What's the difference?
Sorry if this is a daft question but... what is the difference between Rich snippets and Schema markup? Are they one and the same? They seem to be used interchaneably and I'm confused. If someone could give a brief sentence or two about the differences between them that would be great. Thanks

Schema.org for real estate portal
I am looking for advise on how to best start adopting schema.org for a real estate portal. Would like to get feedback and suggestions on my initial thoughts. Here are the obvious ones: 1. http://www.schema.org/RealEstateAgent(Thing > Organization > LocalBusiness > RealEstateAgent) Plan to use this to wrap realtors' information. We ll start with their profile page but possibly also on other pages with their information (e.g. listing page) 2. http://www.schema.org/SearchResultsPage(Thing > CreativeWork > WebPage > SearchResultsPage) This will mark search results pages where e.g. multiple listings of certain type in certain area are presented. 3. http://schema.org/WebPage(Thing > CreativeWork > WebPage) Pretty generic so we are thinking of using it on every page. e.g. significantLinks and breadcrumb objects seem like they could help in marking important links that will help search engines understand the site's information architecture better. I am not sure how to treat property listings Offer seems a good fit (http://www.schema.org/Offer) but not perfect. maybe it should be combined with place (http://www.schema.org/Place) http://www.schema.org/GeoCoordinates could also be used to mark each listing's location on the map. any thoughts or experiences you would like to share?
