Vibrant Facebook Community around a Business, how to ask for links?
-
Hello,
Helping a friend out with their site: Black Mountain Colorado Dude Ranch. It is an awesome dude ranch (working ranch that has cabins for rent so you can get that 'western experience' without buying a ranch. Yes there are cattle drives). They have a great ~1000k a picture facebook page https://www.facebook.com/blackmtnranch that is fantastic, but I'm completely at a loss on how to get help with our ranking terms from this (as most don't have blogs, websites or any knowledge of what linking is outside facebook).
Ideas?
tl;dr Asking for links from people without sites is confusing to them, but is there any tips to getting help from them?

Just some quick ideas for you
Firstly i cant get to your facebook etc pages from site - i can only like etc .
Leverages your audience- i would do something for links with a strong blog or site who wants to get infront of that big social audience of yours.
Have them create content for you to put on your site that might attract attention and links.
Have them Share and spread the love links will follow

So are you / they looking for help from the ground up Andrew?
As for getting links, it starts with a great service / content and finding others who are willing to link back for whatever reason.
I wrote and article on LinkBuilding as a guide, so perhaps take a quick peek there?
Andy

First idea was to take the content on the Horse Quotes page and add sharing under each image.

2 tier links campaign
I want to launch a 2 tier campaign, I have been building high-quality backlinks to my site, that means sites relevant to my niche, quality content ( more than 700 words), high domain authority and so on. But making an in deep research I realized the half of my backlinks are almost invisible to Google and the other ones have just a few links and traffic. So I decided to take some actions Build 2 tiers links to my backlinks in order to make them visible Boots their social signals with the same goal in mind ( social shares, likes, comments and so on) So my questions are Does anyone have experience with that? What kind of results did you get in the past? Is this useful? Thanks and regards

Facebook Instant Articles Not Working
I'm getting the following error on Instant Articles despite my site having substantial traffic and hundreds of articles. The provided URL is not being accepted because the site has minimal readership, which violates the Instant Article Policies (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instant-articles/policy/). Please provide a different URL. Here's the blog: http://bit.ly/2Mh1Aes

Business Tweets Showing up Organically
Question. I've noticed in the past and more recently that if you search a business (example: Adidas) in Google, you'll see their activity on Twitter being displayed organically. How can you get your business to show? I also did some research and found that some business that have their tweets displaying are not Twitter verified. I though that may have something to do with it...I guess it doesn't. Does anyone know what "triggers" a business to have their tweets show up organically. When you search Adidas, you'll see their business info, then the twitter carousel (displays 3 tweets and a arrow to view more). Thanks for your help. 102GB

Way to reset Facebook page Reach sending patterns
I have a client that posts a bunch of really poorly formatted and nonengaging content on her a Facebook business page. This has caused her reach to be very low, despite having 9000 real followers. Due to a history of poor content and therefore low engagement Facebook just does not send her stuff out anymore. Is there a way to change that? I heard you could reset that notion by staying off the page for a couple of weeks and then beginning to post once more with better stuff. Is that remotely true?

Google+. Good for all businesses?
Hi guys, My question/discussion is regarding Google+ and whether or not I should advocate creating an account for one of the websites I work in-house for. This particular website focuses on unlock codes for mobile phones and isn't a service that consumers would really want to connect with - which is what Google+ appears to be a vehicle for. It is a one off purchase website, and not something people will use regularly. On the face of it Google+ offers very little for a company that operates in this fashion and makes most sense for B2B businesses. I feel that by potentially creating a Google+ presence we are in fact attempting to manipulate the search rankings because it isn't a networking site that makes sense for our business and there is actually very little real reason for us to get involved with it. I don't think Google would penalise any business for getting involved in their product, but we would only be using it to benefit our ranking position. Surely that is against everything Google themselves stand for? Also, what real benefits have you guys got out of using Google+? If I am to create a presence there, this is the ammo I'll need to use to convince my manager with. Thanks a lot.

Google+'s +1 for business....
I'm thinking (and I could be wrong) that eventually the number of people that have +1'd a site will begin to impact search results. After all, it is Google's platform. What are your thoughts on this? And do you know if having someone +1 your site is different than having them "follow" you or add you to their circles? Should a business have more followers or +1's?

Like my Facebook Page or my Facebook URL?
Like many other companies or company has a site and a Facebook page. With the Facebook like button your can either specify a url or a Facebook Page. So I don't know what would be better to get more 'likes' or if I need both? My thoughts: More people liking the Facebook Page then we can post updated to more people that will show on their wall. More url likes, I think this might have (or will have) effect on search engine rankings. The more people that like your url the higher it could be in rankings. I don't really want both as most people won't go through the trouble to 'like' both plus it is confusing. Please let me know your thoughts or strategy.
